Funds for emergency services will be given directly to the states. The states are better equipped to understand where the needs of their people are.
Perfect example; In 2023 Lahaina on Maui was devastated by a wild fire. (Suspicious wildfire) 17,000 acres. 102 deaths and 2267 structures destroyed.
77 FEMA employees arrived to aid survivors of the fire. Most were living in shelters, school gym's and such. FEMA stayed 6 days and gave out $750 checks per household. To families who lost everything) After a 6 hour day doing their strenuous task of writing checks they rested at the all inclusive Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas. a $335 per night luxury resort.
Just one example of why FEMA is a failure.
FEMA has never been there for the people who have suffered a disaster. Of course they're going to blame the President on their lack of response to any future disaster. But the truth is they suck and always have!!!
