I moved down here in 2015 and every year we have had some activity here. Granted we have only really had the one direct hit last year with Milton. But every year either one lands down near Naples and comes into Tampa as a tropical storm or skirts up the coast and makes landfall near the bend. It is time for a break.
Since 1990 – 2024 we have had 35 landfalling storms in Fl. We average 2 per year. Exceptions 2004 and 2005 with 4. Then 19 years with 0, 1 or 2. 2024 – 3. Statistical pattern of increase – nope. Also as far as strength of storm no meaningful statistical change from 1990-2000 to 2001-2024.

I never heard of a hurricane or tornado in the different states.ive live in.but when i moved to Florida. everything changed 😂

every predictor is wrong every year, just tell what it looks like and be ready to pivot because your making people not listen to warnings.
Hurricanes have been around now there are millions more people. Thetefore the buildings the paving the relationship with the sun changes
