2 neighbors have problems to get on (to hear each other ?) then what luck is there so that 195 countries made it, honnestly ? Anyway, the decisions taken have been taken to have good conscience because for this people, "after them, the Deluge !", they won't be there to assume the consequences of their own actions.
But we, the people, we could force them to do what must be done : by the exemple ! We ALL should do efforts, everywhere, in all the domains of our lifes and, in doing it, we could show to the politicians our desire to change the "bad" things and they would have to follow us.

I am in the mountains in the caribbean and it used to be cool and fresh now is F hot to hot… Things are changing and fast. A view points: Polar bears are thriving, There is no change in extreme weather events. More CO2 means easy living for plants. The earth is becoming greener. Should we do something about pollution yes? I fully agree. Are we doing something about it? No nothing at all. We pretend to do something about it and feel good while in fact we pollute more and more. We recycle plastics and ship it to 3th world countries, we cut down forests and burn it in bio-mass burners (carbon neutral) and this list goes on and on.

The Paris Accord has failed and it will again. It allows China and India to increase overall carbon usage. Their increases are greater than all reductions in the rest of the world. By some countries having to tax their businesses and citizens while China does not, the Accord is a way to transfer wealth and power to China.
The emissions are currently protecting us we had a drop in emissions in 2020 and it got hotter. So be careful what you hope for. It's the sun not Co2 that is making things hotter.
