In the long term heat causes the most damage; making cold without impossible, making heat is simple. Migration of pathogens and pathogen carriers across continents and from frozen areas in ice and ground, inability of some areas to grow crops, flooding of coastal land by melting ice and sea level expansions, loss of land from melting permafrost/ loss of marine and lake life from overheated water, and several other results. These are all happening now, we need to cut back and reduce the expansion of society and the unchecked growth or the people born now will live in a society that will have to be very restricted for actions etc.

To stop climate change you will have to stop the continents from moving and stop volcanos from erupting, kepp the earth spinning at its current speed, stop the moon from drifting away from the earth, stop the erosion of mountains.
