So they built a sea wall ( which holds back the ocean water from where it would naturally have settled) then that seawall got destroyed, as they said in the video, so the water went back to its natural level, and they blame it on climate change. Sad yes, climate change caused, no. Idk what is more sad, the fact that these people lost their homes or the fact that so many of you hear news stories like this and cant read between the lines. A bunch of sheep!
ok—- Come now. I have been all over the world and islands and coasts have been washed away by storms and created by storms as long as humans have records. It is not the fault of Climate Change unless you are dealing with hundreds of years. An island disappearing in just a decade or two is Weather not Climate Change. No island is going to disappear just because the ocean rises a fraction of an inch in a hundred years. Get real here People. I feel terrible for the people but it is stupid to blame Global warming. Better blame God at least it has some truth to back it.

This flooding is due to exceptional tides. A totally natural phenomena. Claiming "sea level rise" gets foreign aid and Australian citizenship for the inhabitants. The population of Kiribati has actually been steadily rising. Climate change is a useful hoax.

I’d say one of the earliest cases of climate change and environmental refugees were Italians in the 1900s. A series of earthquakes including one that killed over 100,000 forced them to leave.
