How many millions of people will be forced to leave their homes by 2050? This documentary looks at the so-called hotspots of climate change in the Sahel zone, Indonesia and the Russian Tundra.
Lake Chad in the Sahel zone has already shrunk by 90 percent since the 1960s due to the increasing heat. About 40 million people will be forced to migrate to places where there is enough rainfall. Migration has always existed as a strategy to adapt to a changing environment. But the number of those forced to migrate solely because of climate change has increased dramatically since the 1990s. It is a double injustice: after becoming rich at the expense of the rest of the world, the industrialized countries are now polluting the atmosphere with their emissions and bringing a second misfortune to the inhabitants of the poorer regions. One of them is Mohammed Ibrahim: as Lake Chad got hotter and drier, he decided to go where the temperatures were less extreme and there was still a little water, trekking with his wife, children and 70 camels from Niger to Chad and then further south. The journey lasted several years and many members of his herd died of thirst. Now he and his family are living in a refugee camp: they only have seven camels left. Mohammed is one of many who have left their homelands in the Sahel – not because of conflict and crises, but because of the high temperatures. He’s a real climate refugee.

I can't understand one thing if the situation is so dire why do people keep having 5 to 6 childrens only to suffer….if 8 mouths to feed in a desert like this wouldn't it be difficult.why doesn't ngo and gov tell them to have lesser children and provide them with basic amneties

Vapor condensation creates clouds that veil the sun totally,earth and atmosphere …
This a mount of water vapor became produced from(seas and oceans)…
This means,the percentage of water vapor which produced from the ground and the (seas&oceans )is difficult…
This means the pressures of the air in the atmosphere are different too…
This case means the change in the directions of winds,which some called climate change and some called global warming, and then NINO and then LANINA, and this year they called global cooling…

People who think class is not a stage of human development are deniers.
They believe class is a permanent feature in human societies and can never grow out of class divisions.
So far all written history is a history of social classes naturally, this leads them to believe class is here to stay.
There will always be landlords, bankers and merchants. There will always be kings, monarchs, dictators, presidents and capitalists.
There will always be a working class divided into various social groupings. Deniers of class conflict may be the rationalists and non-deniers the idealists in this argument.
The idealist reacts to the class struggle in ways they think they can rise above class, all one has to do is not think like a slave or a auto worker, to rise above class.
This may be true too…there are plenty of smart peasants and plenty of smart auto workers…but none of them are enough of a number to make any real impact. Too many think they are permanent features of class too few who fell they are not is not enough to act like one class to end class.
Corporations from the wealthiest countries are causing the bulk of global warming causatives (80% ) and profiting from it. They seem to be funding authoritarian fascist politics globally as well, so they can have "less government" (i.e. US Republicans) and more corporate extraction.
Immigration is under attack and is a form of resource conflict.
Won't be a disaster for the wealthy. To shake off Colonial locusts, Nature has to sacrifice her guardians; indigenous peoples. Then maybe wealthy will go to Mars.
