  1. What is needed is a world council that every country belongs to, the first task is to educate people properly and address the third world first, give them real physical help to solve their main problems, the biggest problem is Desertification meaning land that was used for growing food and reducing carbon be returned to their original condition which can be done with very little money…….watch the youtube videos on Desertification for the proof, we can do that now and reclaim the land that feeds our people in the right way and puts back the water into the underground caverns and the surface soil and rivers. I don't see students and climate change protesters pushing for this when it is a simple task to solve the problems within 5 to 7 years.

  2. Here's what Climate experts were saying in 1970:
“Civilization will end within 15 or 30 years unless immediate action is taken against problems facing mankind.”
    Harvard biologist George Wald

“It is already too late to avoid mass starvation,”
Denis Hayes, Chief organizer for Earth Day

“We are in an environmental crisis which threatens the survival of this nation, and of the world as a suitable place of human agitation.”
    Washington University biologist Barry Commoner

“Population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make. The death rate will increase until at least 100–200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years
    Stanford University biologist Paul Ehrlich

By 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions …. By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.”
North Texas State University professor Peter Gunter

“In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution… by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half.”
    Life magazine

“At the present rate of nitrogen buildup, it’s only a matter of time before light will be filtered out of the atmosphere and none of our land will be usable. … By the year 2000, if present trends continue, we will be using up crude oil at such a rate … that there won’t be any more crude oil. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.”
    Kenneth Watt

  3. An ambitious target, but is it realistic? The UK managed to cut emissions by roughly 200mt/y since 1990, but has already picked the low-hanging fruit. Industries shrank, consumers bought into efficiency, car engines got better, gas replaced coal.. etc. You now want to go even harder, yet with less nuclear energy and no commitment to zero population growth? A goal without a plan is just a wish. Call this one May's wish.

  4. I wouldn't give them any electricity, can you imagine how bad it would be if they had something like endless renewables – look how much they mess up the world with what they know is finite, & most of the useage has been needless. It's a constant noise pollution and vibration pollution harassment as is, I wouldn't give them anything they can use to keep that going. It's wrong and it should never have been allowed to get this way.

  5. This is so pointless, China and India are the biggest polluters of the world, the amount of greenhouse gases the Uk produces is just a drop in the ocean and won’t change anything if we cut our emissions to 0, all this will do is hurt the economy and consumers without benefiting the planet or anything.

  6. To undermine completely manufacturing in the UK and absolutely Castrate the igniters of the Industrial Revolution..ridiculous fools. If the little UK is zero the maximum effect on the worlds emissions will be 1 measly percent..total fools. It will amount to near nothing and force "emissions austerity" high costs and creating hardship on the land.

  7. She said ‘2050’ with no sense of irony. That’s her legacy… the ability to play golf…while making sure companies propagating bad practices continue to make money.

  8. The Whole planet has only added less the 2% carbon into our atmosphere . There is less than 8% carbon in the atmosphere and 6% is naturally occurring. It's all goverment properganda to make people payout for things that don't need paying out For.

  9. There is nothing that could make this womans' legacy appear better than an un polishable turd. This woman stinks of self interest. She screwed Brexit, Assange, 17.4 million Brits and now wants to screw with the climate hoax, her legacy will be LOSER. Pollution will reduce 99% when May shuts her mouth, packs her bags and vanishes

  10. Net Zero by 2050 is absolute Leftist Insanity! It’s a road to poverty, not to mention it’s practically impossible.
And if some how it happens you would be handing control of the world’s economy to China, Chine is Not using “renewables”, China is Not worried about Net Zero.

  12. Net zero would be a complete disaster for the West and other countries. How we have let ourselves get conned into believing all this so-called ‘environmental’ nonsense is beyond me? Are these people pushing for this agents of hostile countries? These ‘environmentalists’ and their ilk, like the ‘greens’ etc should be treated as basically terrorists, as they will destroy our countries if they have their way! Teresa May is a complete idiot and an example of the weak minded nitwits running our county!
