  1. So the Canadian government has now removed ALL data on weather from before the 1950s saying that they are going to "model" it and figure out how hot it really was. I guess all those extremely hot and cold temperature really poke a hole in their climate change propaganda balloon

  2. Regardless of ones personal belief on the severity of climate change, green policies and initiatives that move us towards renewable energy will eventually save the government and citizens significant savings. They are moving us towards a more financially efficent society. It's not only environmental sustainability, it's financial sustainability as well. Is it going to cost a large amount of money upfront? Yes. Short term pain for long term gain. When we approach these ideas of transitioning to renewable energy, we all should ask our selves which party do we believe will responsibly facilitate the transition to renewable energy without jeopardizing our economic sustainability in the short term.
Just my thoughts. Keep the comments classy internet!

  3. Hon. Justin Trudeau
As a country with strong values when it comes to Human Rights, why is Canada even considering sending our athletes to the 2088 Winter Olympics in China? You personally have experienced this corrupt, tyrannical government which I’m sure has set off many alarm bells and red flags for you and our government. I read all the comments on Mainland Chinas media and Canada is viewed as a country with no power or say in foreign affairs. The Chinese listen to no one! The decision made as to how the South (China) Sea should be divided up amongst 5 other countries fell on deaf ears by the Chinese megalomaniac. Since then, atolls have been filled in and runways build and these island militarized even though XI promised this would not happen. The other countries have just as much claim to the area but were silenced by the bullying of China and their disregard for a world organization decision handed down after much investigation and discussion.
And what about the incarceration of over a million Uyghur in the name of stopping terrorists within China? The whole scenario has been a complete and blatant disregard for anyone rights seven though in the Chinese Constitution, these rights are supposedly guaranteed. The reality of it is that they have none of these rights that are outlined in their Constitution. How is it the United Nations has not expelled them for their actions and why have they also not recognized Taiwan and Hong Kong as sovereign states just like Singapore! The protests and riots that followed as a result of heavy handed police intervention clearly show that Beijing is pulling all the string in Hong Kong with its puppet government. 2 million followed up with a peaceful demonstration just days later to prove they are non-violent and did not cause the riot the first time. It should also be noted that hundreds of thousands of overseas Chinese protested around the world. The message is clear and coming from the rest of the world. China is flexing its muscles through their Brick and Road Initiative through predatory loans, they continue to conduct their forced organ transplant operations, they persecute religious groups like Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Falun Gong. It will drive the CCP crazy to see footage of the Falun Gong marching in every parade across Canada on July 1st! Their propaganda machine has brainwashed all the Mainlanders into believing This group of people are the most evil group of people on the planet! Yeah, they are really evil as we can see by their moral philosophy centered on the tenets of truthfulness , compassion, and forbearance.
Canada may be weak according to the Chinese but we have our strengths as witnessed by the hundreds of thousands of Chinese who have fled to China to live a life free of tyranny and oppression and surveillance!
This “weak and insignificant” country can send a real message to the China as well as the rest of the world. We are taking a stand against China the only way we know how to make sure that they get the message loud and clear. We need to be the first country to boycott the Winter Olympics in China in 2022! I know that is a hard pill to swallow but to makes gains we must suffer some pain. We can have our athletes as well as others who agree with our stand against this megalomaniac to attend a Winter Olympics in a FREE country that is Canada! I’m sure Whistler/Blackcomb could accommodate such an even with very little notice! We have all their infrastructure already in place.

  4. Scary stuff! Net-zero emissions? and we still do not know what to do with our own trash.. Canadian recycle is a myth.. there are many countries, including developing countries, that do have recycle programs better than Canada..

  5. "Well, I mean, usually, usually,Yeah!? Usually when when when when there's a law and you don't you don't obey by the law I would imagine that ummmm that they that that…there would be penalties"

    Wow…..

    Just wow. Holy hell.

  6. In power for one term and made target agreements with other nations. Why are no specific details on this file clearly spelled out on a platform before calling an election. Last minute addons that mimic other party platforms is poor mangagement and policy.

  7. Net Zero cannot be legally binding,we need to develop bio gas-which still produces CO2 when burnt-natural gas needs to be excluded from targets.CO2 is not pollution try living with out it ! How many jobs will be lost without fossil fuels.

  8. I think affluent people all over the world need to realize that governments will not be able to fix this climate issue. If anyone thinks that voting liberal instead of conservative is doing their part for the planet, then we are truly doomed. Trudeau's climate policies are in direct conflict with his immigration policies, you cannot grow the population of a country with the highest per-capita emissions and expect a reduction. A growing economy will never reduce emissions. Canada at net zero does nothing for the planet when China and other counties just ramp up their emissions, consider that when you buy all that plastic junk or precious metal stuff that you don't need. Only when the bulk of affluent people all over the world realize that mass consumerism is to blame, and stop buying, flying, will we have a chance to reduce emissions.
