You want to actually reduce carbon emissions drastically? Stop bringing in close to half a million new immigrants to the country every year.
Canada is moving…towards 100% renewably powered electricity powered economy. When we are 60% hydro powered already and new wind is 3.5 cents per kilowatt hour on the prairies coupled with electric floor heating, high insulation and electric vehicles we can build success.

It’s our job to use the fossil fuel deposits to terraform the planet so carbon is expelled for life to grow more lusciously.

Not quite sure how agriculture, construction, shipping/trucking could ever accomplish this. Sounds like a half smoked pipe dream to me.

So there seems to be a gap here… Canada has the CANDU nuclear reactor. It does NOT use enriched uranium, so it can be sold to questionable countries like Iran and still doesn't give them a reason to process uranium into weapon grade uranium. Why is this all getting buried?
Take all the covid unemployed and make zero emmisions by 2030.
