As global temperatures continue to rise, scientists are wondering if we need solutions that go beyond reducing emissions. From sucking carbon straight out of the air, to geoengineering our atmosphere to physically block out sunlight, to planting more than a trillion trees, the options may seem futuristic or tough to implement. But as time runs out on conventional solutions to climate change, scientists are asking the hard questions: Can new, sometimes controversial, solutions really work? And at what cost?

Whom do I talk to, I have an idea that could take out a huge chunk of the emissions.
There is a high technology carbon capture and they are here before us, it's called "Trees and Photosynthesis" 😅
Someone should tell the guys from 1pointfive they should watch this to see how ludicrous their idea is to see DAC as a solution for climate change.
But well, 1pointfive is just another greenwashing for fossil fuels i suppose, that spreads the crazy idea we can go on doing what we re doing and DAC will save us. 🤣
The best solution is: plant more trees, switching to more greener energies like solar and wind, no more coal, cutting the use of petroleum and gas, recycling, and one thing that gets less importance is: STOP WASTING OUR RESOURCES like water and food…
Trees sound like the way to go so if people could stop burning them for fuel and stop building their houses from them and just let them grow then the world might stand a chance.

Punch a hole in the earth’s atmosphere to release the Co2 🥸
United States has more trees today than we had 100 years ago.
Most rainforest elimination result of unregulated or illegal timber harvesting.
The U.S. softwood industry was able to plant 3 new trees for every 1 harvested in 2020.
Each year, the U.S. plants over 1 billion trees and Canada plants over 600 million trees.
1.8 billion trees were planted worldwide,but 15.3 billion trees cut down yearly. That means for every tree planted, eight are cut down.
Planting two trees can effectively eliminate one ton of CO2 from the atmosphere throughout the lifespan of those trees.
Why tf would you want to cool the planet? Are you joking? Life flourishes under warming and dies during cooling.
Let me save you an hour. We cant cool the planet. No one knows why. Thanks for watching.

Trees are great until they burn.
how about something closer to home first, such as cutting our teeth on stopping earthquakes, volcanoes erupting, typhoons blowing etc ? Surely that is MUCH easier ?

We don't need to wait for any breakthroughs. We have all of them ready to go. What we need is political will. A proper incentive structure.
Like a Carbon Tax.
Without the carbon tax, all those ideas will stay in the lab.

I know the solution. Stop Animal Farming. Because its one of the biggest contributors to global warming and also takes a lot of agricultural land. Instead all of us go vegetarian and use the land that we are using for animal farming to grow forests and jungles. That would make the problem solve. It would require the unity of the whole world.
Plant trees and/or Bamboo. Bamboo is better because the rate at it can grow.
Take CO2 combine that with ammonia. This makes a fertalizer called Urea. This makes plants grow taking more CO2 out of the atmosphere. The ammonia comes from nitrogen and hydrogen . The hydrogen can come from water electrolysis. The electricity for the electrolysis can come from solar wind and nuclear.
You never said anything about ocean nurishment . The growth of phytoplankton can take a lot CO2 out of the atmosphere. Ian Boyd an Australian scientist has proposed an ocean nourishment program. This could increase fish populations.
Need to spray snow width watter. It forms white ice who stays half the summer. Need gigantic ice forming machines in arctic and antarctic.

Co2 is very very low at the moment about 400 parts per million, ideally this planet would benefit greatly if it was in the several thousand parts per million. Co2 is our friend and has zero evidence linking with rising temperatures. Climate change is normal and it’s become a trillion dollar scam and another tool to take your freedoms away, induce fear and more control. All part of the globalist agenda. Lies lies lies. Read the scientific papers for yourself it’s not hard
