Despite polls showing the majority of people are “not willing to pay” for net zero emissions, we are told we must triple the spending on clean energy, says Sky News host Paul Murray.
A YouGov poll has revealed a majority of Australians want to pay ‘nothing’ for the transition to green energy or net zero emissions.
“But the people who run the world have decided this is what will happen,” Mr Murray said.

If the government did not shirk it's responsibilities to build and maintain infrastructure over the past few decades and sell it all off to the Chinese , we would not be left paying 35% higher power bills and fuel bills and Uni fees . When ever the government inserts a "margin" for a player that gives them a cash pay out, we loose . So here we stand again with another 30% added for infrastructure and another 30% for the "insert margin" that feeds the big end of town again . For gods sake they stock marketed water ! Criminals . We will all be paying "net zero tax" in fact we are paying it now. My insurance in WA went up by over 20% to pay for East Coast Bush fires on top of this I already pay a fire levy. Is that Death and Taxes or Taxes and Death.

Achieving Net Zero by next year, let alone 2050 will not achieve anything except give some people better air to breath. The problem is the melting ice at the poles and it can't be stopped, it's already a runaway train which is creating rising sea levels. Let's start focusing on what is important and fix up the melting ice at the poles. The Global Shelf Ice Maker System is the only solution that can fix these problems of the melting ice and rising sea levels. The Australian government at the highest levels are already ignoring this Solution because it means less money for them to spend. Apparently this Net Zero policy is just another way for the politicians to get more money off businesses for them to spend on anything they want. And they won't change this for anything.
