The support for a net zero emissions reduction target “plummets quite dramatically” when a cost is nominated, says Sky News host Rita Panahi.
It comes after Prime Minister Scott Morrison presented polling to Cabinet which showed 80 per cent support for a net zero by 2050 target.
“If you dig a little bit deeper, when you nominate a cost for that zero emissions, if you nominate a cost of even just $500 per annum, the support plummets quite dramatically,” Ms Panahi said.
“So it’s always wise to have a bit of a deeper look at those figures because remember … it was the last federal election that was the climate change election.
“We took this to the Australian people and the Australian people sided with the centre-right Coalition.
“And now the centre-right Coalition is embracing the policies of its opposition that lost the unlosable election.”

Young people in schools need to be told that by not using fossil fuels they cannot go on any holidays by air, ship,rails,cars (unless electrical).They’ll need to cycle across oceans or swim,,unless they want to forego travelling overseas.This applies to all those educators who try to indoctrinate in them.
