  1. Dw– why you talk only about future?
Lets tak about little bit about the past?

The history of 200 years of industrial age.

And lets talk about the outcome of Paris climate agreement.

Expecting a little bit less biased view point from a media house which claims to show only the truth.

  2. Well this guys have almost burned coal for 3,4 centuries in this so called Industrial revolution moreover looted the wealth of ASIA AND AFRICA to build their on fortune
Now the world's greatest colonizers want us stop burning and do carbon emission net zero in that case of pollution and emission we are very much far behind China your Isolating policy doesn't work here damn you guys don't let us join in this NSG ofcourse your boss China is their and moreover if we get access of this ingredient an recipe named nuclear power plant will form and it makes least the pollution than this coal process so stop it with your irresponsible actions during for this so called Industrial revolution now call up this cop26 for speaking climate change 🙄 😑

  3. Funny how the Anchor slipped her point of view in at the end "Mother nature does not care about historical records bla bla bla"…. Dude, you are alive today probably because of your ancestors who emitted enough to keep west warm… Stop asking poor nations to do more, they simply do not have the capacity

  4. India surpassed USA and China to record highest online transaction.. I remember only 5y to 8y ago we were totally depend on cash… Now buying anything from phone is so common here.. I hardy use credit card Or cash

Something tells me India will achieve this target without any problem

  5. Most of these so called developed countries have so much money to fight for proxy wars in the middle east and Afghanistan…if they had used half that money in fighting climate change it would have been better. US alone spend 1 trillion USD in Afghanistan…but they can't fulfill 100 USD commitment to fight climate change. You guys can fight imaginary enemies to sell your arsenal of weapons…but you can not cheat nature for too long

  6. U trust this spineless nation and this PM???????? After 50 years from now……. MODI can't even stick his word of "Made in India" made a few years ago……. This nation only talk the talk and don't walk the walk. MODI can say he can eliminate the poverty in India after 5 years. U trust this nation? U trust this spineless leader?……… Good luck to ur sorry arsss.

  7. You're expecting a country marred by corruption led purely by Hindu and caste supremacy to achieve progressive carbon neutral targets. I guess 2030 will be the year or reckoning or excuses.

  8. The sum of global capital committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions has surged to over $130 trillion, up from only $5 trillion when the UK and Italy assumed the COP26 Presidency, an international alliance of financiers said Nov. 3. Nov 3, 2021.

  9. I think the carbon debt owed should be heavily regarded as that is the only reason we are in this situation today. It’s important to highlight the monopoly that DOES exist today the mindset of colonialism has not left us. Please regard the fact that Countries like the United States and United Kingdom are consuming products directly responsible for emissions TODAY. Further by outsourcing production they continue to cause higher carbon levels but in other nations like China.

I personally hate the way that India as a nation is disregarded after being completely looted, it stills continues to emit less carbon than these monopolizing nations??? Adding to that India has proven in climate change to commit and over deliver.

  10. I feel the anchor was being negative towards developing countries and Ajit rightly pointed out the unfulfilled 100 billion dollar financing. No answer to that by the anchor. You journalists need to be neutral. Your reporting brings disrespect to your profession.

  11. Can India achieve Net Zero? They entered into Paris climate accord, blasted the U.S. for leaving it and have had a Carbon output INCREASE every year since they signed it. India also reaching targeted goals. Remember the 100 million toilet push to change India from being the #1 nation for open defecation? They are not only still #1 but as even poorer nations see the wisdom of indoor plumbing in an age of The pandemic, India is now #1 by a wider margin…..meaning they have a more comfortable lead.
India and China both have hit peak pollution numbers this year. This doesn’t stop Indias leaders from wagging their fingers and criticizing other nations for doing exactly what India does Year in and Year out.

  12. You'd be surprised.
India has the largest fleet of vehicles running on low emissions natural gas including buses and trucks and now biogas from agricultural waste is being used to supply gas.
Also one of the largest railway network which is 80% electrified, aiming at 100% in the next few years
Yes there are problems, but the change is visible

  13. Nothing will take place, get used to a warmer world. Only future technologies at cleaning CO2 will work thanks to the environmentalists. If the US, China, Japan and EU should all be nuclear by now, but we are not thanks to Greta types in the 70 & 80’s. Nobody is going to give up their lifestyles for another country citizens. Just look at the woke celebrities that fly gas guzzling private planes all over.

  14. so during the whole industrial era USA & UK developed its economy and now when CHINA &INDIA needs to go ahead further, west will start to lecture that you are destroying the world.

Fun fact : west already destroyed ecology
