Scientists have long warned that climate change will lead to more intense weather.
Many point to record-breaking temperatures now in India and Pakistan as proof.
Although heatwaves are common in the region, they don’t usually start until May or June.
The intense heat has increased demand for electricity, leading to power outages.
So what can be done to reduce the impact of the heatwaves?

I bet they wish they had more tree's for shade…stop letting the greedy take your timber for their portfolios…
good news it's raining in Bangalore. temperature has come down. currently in my home without turning on fan
It's government fault
we are victims of climate change,, and behind this some country guilty for this, this is not good for human kind and world.
Both these countries are foolishly implying to spend on arms unnecessarily instead of spending for climate change and own necessary issues.
Please discuss about the steps to be taken as fast as possible to solve the problem.
Forget about global level. This is not happening. Dont look for shoulders. Easily can go for clean energy. Water reservoirs and plantations.
😅😂🤣
and what has India been doing to fight climate change?
Burning coal for electricity is not a great idea. And for how long have they been investing in the War Machine, Nuclear Weapons, Space Technology. India has accomplished little.
Compare emissions based on land mass not on populations, otherwise all countries will increase population on India's growth rate for the past 40 years. Trying to blame other countries will contribute little to dealing with the issue.
Excellent interview. But with coal and Modi and every nation pursuing political rather than human benefit, we're all in big trouble.
What is not factored-in is illegal mining, outdated technology in industries, brick klins. Corrupt pollution control board. Zero political will because the politicians are illiterate.
soil carbon sequestration … the new black gold
Deforestation in Pakistan is the cause of this heat wave.
It should be part of the training of young scientists (everywhere) to distill their research findings to be able to speak in to-the-point, crisp and clear language that is neither so scripted as in reading of a conference paper nor so vague as in a casual chat at a cafe.
South asia is not just india and pakistan but, also other countries like afghanistan, bangladesh, srilanka etc
Prime minister of india once said that there is no climate change and that we are only getting old.
Some people are dumb and are proud of it. 🐧
melting of the arctic ice is creating a wobbling jet stream …… so get used to it and learn how to keep yourselves cooler. if you can not sweat enough to cool down
of course coal is creating climate change. but the elite need it to run their air conditioning. it is the men on the streets that are going to die of extreme heat
look up Paul Beckwith and guy McPherson they are trying to explain and help the human race
we are over the tipping point. for many changes so now what you are experiencing is just the being
and talk by politicians is just blah blah blah blah. they have air conditioning and are not in danger of death by extreme heat
It's so hot but they wear enough rags for a week 🤡
South india kerala raining
THINK OVERPOPULATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for posting.
We NORTHEAST INDIA are the luckiest and the best place in India. Its like our home state were made with Air Conditioning. 💜 The winter isn't too Cold and the Summer isn't that hot. The weather is amazing.Thank God i was born in this amazing beautiful place – Northeast India

Rosa Koire UN Agenda 2030 exposed
Here are a few quotes not often found in mainstream media from some experts on the global warming agenda.
— “The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.” — Club of Rome, premier environmental think-tank, consultants to the United Nations.
— “We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination… So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts… Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest.” – Prof. Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, lead author of many IPCC reports.
— “We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.” – Timothy Wirth, president of the UN Foundation.
— “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony. … climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.” – Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment
— “The data doesn’t matter. We’re not basing our recommendations on the data. We’re basing them on the climate models.” – Professor Chris Folland, Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research.
— “The models are convenient fictions that provide something very useful.” – Dr David Frame, climate modeler, Oxford University.
— “It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.” – Paul Watson, co-founder of Greenpeace.

New Government Study Finds Cleaner Air Leads to More Atlantic Hurricanes
if we had same hot march 120 yrs ago, I wonder who was polluting as that time? Sounds like we are chasing the wrong bunny here..
Heat is a asset if u converted to energy.
basically the first guest gave no proof the impact of climate change is due to human activity if this was the case they would have data showing areas of human activity with more severe climate change impact, the global warming phenomena is very minimal itself and natural disasters have always been occurring they have not significantly increased no is there evidence that they have occurred due to human activity
