Climate alarmism depends entirely on an ignorance of history. That ignorance has been deliberately created by the press and government officials.
Climate changes over hundreds if not thousands of years. You cannot just take a selection of cherry picked decades and look at them in isolation without also considering the events and records of the preceding century or more if you are really going to be able to see long-term shifts in temperature and weather patterns. We are not in a climate emergency. Climate has always changed.
Climate models using the temperature records from a recent cool period as a base starting point for comparing current temperatures and ignoring earlier decades of higher inconvenient temperature records, is a deliberate means to misrepresent the truth.
The Historical Record shows that severe weather events are much less frequent now and of a lower magnitude (temperatures, floods, drought, hurricanes, forest fires, etc)
A 100 years ago the weather was far worse than today's when CO2 levels were much lower.
Historical records don't lie unlike the MSM and the "climate scientists" that rely on government grants for their funding – follow the money – you get what you pay for!
On August 9th 1911, London reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This global heatwave lasted for 70 days and killed thousands.
The worst heatwave of modern times in England occurred in 1976, lasting from June to August.
The last time London reached 100 degrees was in the Summer of 2003.
This week’s short-lived heatwave is not “unprecedented” or the worst on record.

If you mean that the climate always naturally changes due to variation in solar activity, changes in the earth's position relative to the sun and a host of other factors, then you're right. But if you mean the theory of man-made climate change is real, there is no evidence AT ALL that this is true. There is data, but much of it has been manipulated or expunged in order to present a reality which is a lie. And after more than thirty years of predictions by the climate alarmists, not one has been proven true. You're a smart guy, but every time anyone pays lip service to the reality of this outright scam (which is simply an instrument for those running the show to introduce their Reset), you deepen the tyranny. Those that committed us to economic suicide did so without looking hard into the need, timing ,and cost .We need to have a fully detailed rethink and only carry out sensible changes.
