  1. It's a bit like when buying a suit and asking the retailer where it was made: If it was Italian made, she'd be eagerly forthcoming with the answer. If it was made in the PRC she'd respond in the same condescending manner she did here.

  2. It's a Tax by Credits. Does nothing to remove CO2. In the U.K the price of power has sky rocketed power for heating apparently 4,500.00 pounds to 6,500 pound to heat the home for the year ! Remember that is pounds. Just looked at exchange rates It's 1.7 dollars to the pound . Blinkin gobb smacked init !

  3. Net zero means building batteries that are far more complex to assemble and disassemble than an internal combustion engine. They also have far more materials in them and actually pollute more based on how challenging they are to make

  4. Senator Wong: "I am not sure how to explain it other than to say it means net zero."
Tim Blair: "Net zero means obviously…"

So it's obvious to Penny and Tim but not Pauline.

There is nothing circular about that answer.

  5. REALLY! You think Penny couldn't answer the question! Really! You folks at Sky News must be as thick as Pauline Hanson if you don't understand the concept of ZERO. Did you do any maths at school? No! Oh well! How nice it would be to see actual news on Sky News rather than right-wing propaganda.
