let me tell you as a Floridian. the biggest lie is is this the biggest storm in whatever. I believe it was hurricane Andrew was a category 5 in the early 90s that destroyed South Florida. it was bigger. the first settlement in Florida was out a place called Gulf breeze today. it was destroyed by a massive hurricane in the 1700s. that is why Saint Augustine on the east coast is considered the oldest city. though itself has been destroyed by many hurricanes. they had a massive Coquina fort built. that could withstand the storms of both mother nature and Great Britain 😂 I'm 50 years old, I've been either directly hit by a hurricane or brushed by them countless times in my life…. Ian caused a lot of damage mostly to barrier Islands. you really shouldn't build communities on those islands. they're called barrier islands for a reason. Ian is nothing and just like Andrew we will rebuild. it has nothing to do with global warming. and people who live in hurricane zones and I've lived there their whole life for generation we really wish you would just go away we got this 🙄
