We travel across Himachal Pradesh to eat some local food and immerse ourselves in the culture as we stumble upon the story of how the biggest crisis of our times affects those who live at the very heart of it– climate change and its impact on the farmers who depend on it. But the story doesn’t end here, if rising temperatures are impacting the orchards, the apple you eat is under threat too.

We have exactly the same situation in Kashmir.
not matchin quint quality…
This is so true. From the past years there has been a drastic change in climate. Being a himachali we have sensed and seen them all. Its high time we need to take steps to prevent these changes in our environment.
Thankyou Quint for this video 👍
I can let you know, the difference of two of my Kashmir trips. One way back in 2012 and the second in 2022. Both trips were to major parts of Kashmir. But I would say for Srinagar and Dal lake. In 2012, Dal lake was quite clean and the temperature was cold in the month of July(like how it happens when the winter is arriving in the north india).
In 2022, I could feel that the temperature had been changed, as I could feel more warmer temperatures at Srinagar. The Dal lake was not so clean. The climate change will affect the hills as there would be more landslides as mostly seen in Himachal Pradesh.
amazing project!!❤️
Every years it is becoming difficult to produce apple in our Himachal because of climate change. 😐
