The United Nations chief Antonio Guterres has called on polluting developed countries like the UK to “fast forward” net zero targets by a decade to 2040, warning the “climate time bomb is ticking”.
It comes as the most comprehensive review yet of the state of climate change delivers a bleak picture of humanity’s failure to tackle it, warning the window to secure a “liveable and sustainable future” is “rapidly closing”.
But climate scientists have rallied to point out there are still grounds for hope.

Question if global warming was agreed on by world scientists why doesn’t China , India ,Russia ,Saudi Arabia, Iran North Korea participate strict measures to remedy the threat in a universal declaration to save the planet together? Or could media propaganda dramatise the truth generated by mainstream media to have global warming parroted for donations from oligarchs ,individuals like George Sorrows that funds these universities & institutions with donations to scientists with the desired results for a global agenda through his business’s could be funnelling $$$$ scientists whom produce such findings to manipulate world markets and political influence without ever being questioned for this conflict of interest to control the global economy markets then use that money to fund elections and destroy the true meaning of democracy ,possibility!?? China, India and North America need to do net zero stuff way before the UK! The UK contributes 0.1% of the world's CO2 emissions compared to China at 25%, India at 18% and N America at 22% . Penalize those countries BEFORE wrecking the UK's economy with eco taxes! 😡😡
