As an engineer I lived and worked in Cambodia from 1998 to 2018. I ran a British INGO. We researched developed and improved and manufactured biogas cook stoves for use by rural farmers. We made 56,000 stoves. By using biogas farmers no longer used wood and charcoal. It also meant there was less respiratory illness.
There is plenty of useful work to be done round the world without throwing paint on paintings or upsetting the lives of hard working people.
OMG where does she get the BS that renewable energy is 5 times cheaper than energy from oil/coal? This is blatantly incorrect and the reverse is proven across the world. Even in Australia with the highest solar energy input and considerable wind resources and even they can't produce renewable energy cheaper than fossil energy, and suffers increasing brown-outs do to unreliability of renewable resources.

If the world stopped oil right now, billions would starve within weeks. Millions would freeze within weeks, with no means to escape to warmer climates as there would be limited transport, and where would they go anyway? Should all 8 billion humans move to the perfect climate habitable areas of the world. where I imagine they would still die of starvation.
