Veolia CEO Estelle Brachlianoff is urging Australian government leaders to turn waste into energy, providing newly developed technology in an effort to achieve net zero.
“The idea is really to try to take the very solution and technology we’ve developed across the globe back in this country to try to excrete and speed up the rhythm of change,” Ms Brachlianoff told Sky News Australia.
“Our activities are all about helping our customer, be they cities or industries to be greener, to save carbon, to save resources, to save water, to have exactly the same outcome in the end so that’s why I’m very positive about our production growth in this country.”

We need to save water as a normal part of living in a generally dry continent, not because net zero is a thing.
Similarly, waste needs to be dealt with using scientific research. Recycling is NOT working. We have huge stockpiles of plastic that the public has religiously recycled each week that can't be reprocessed.

Greener? They’re chopping down forests for solar panels and wind turbines. Not only removing trees which absorb carbon, but also killing or displacing native animals. It is a disgrace.

What evidence do we have that wind turbine actually generate electricity? They don't, they generate about as much electricity as a Christmas tree.
