If we stop all those illegal migrants coming in in the boats we are inhuman and have no understanding of their sufferings..
If we allow then we cannot control influx and we do not have working policies and breaking British values who have always let them in with open arms
Britain pulled out of the EU largely because of the lack of control over mass illegal migration by economic migrants (they are not refugees and almost all men) and the EU's unwillingness to stem the tide. If Rishi does not take swift and effective action to end this human tidal wave it will be the end of Rishi as a politician and the end of the Conservative Party.
Legal migration levels need to be capped at a sustainable level which is something less than 0.1% of the current population. Try improving the birth rate by with tax incentives and support for families to reduce the need for immigration to sustain the population. You will find that families will have more children if they are confident that they can sustain their quality of life.
As we are finding out in Canada – the "skilled" construction workers coming from Africa and Asia have no education and even lower skills. Our Governments began dismantling the College based apprenticeship trade programs 30 years ago. Governments need to invest in their Citizens after all it's their money the Government is spending,
Illegal migration will NOT end until Britain and EU changes their laws and allows rapid processing of these economic migrants and equally rapid return to their country of origin or area of origin. They need to be detained and then put on planes or ships and returned within one week not 5 years. These returned migrants will get the word out to other would-be economic immigrants that there is not point in wasting your money to migrate.
Aggressively prosecute human smugglers and withhold government-to-government aid for the countries that are the source or allowing the migration through their countries.
Stop migrants at the border if they do not have the required documentation – do NOT allow them through the door.

As a unskilled worker I wanted to retrain. Started looking for options to retrain as a electrician or carpenter.
There is no option, you can retrain but You need couple thousand £ and few days a week for 2 years or more. So it's hard to work full time, but if you won't work full time You have bo money for bills and expenses, especially if You have kids.
So for some ppl there is no option to upskill, and they will stay unskilled forever, but instead they will bring more migrants to fill this gaps, but mainly unskilled migrants 🙂

Regardless of political party, many in the UK have lost faith that the government and the civil service will stop the uncontrolled legal migration – note that is legal, the side of migration that we most have control over.
The effects of uncontrolled migration are seen in:
– increase of people on benefits. See the governments data of unemployment by ethnicity – despite the image fed to us, white British have the lowest unemployment rate compared to all other ethnicities.
– artificially lowering the minimum wage due to an abundance of cheap imported labour. We have parts of the indigenous population that rely heavily on low paid low skilled jobs, and they are having to compete with people who are used to earning below the poverty level of Africa, Indian Subcontinent, Middle East etc
– increase in house prices and rental prices
– more building on our protected Green Belt land due to the housing pressure
– more building on existing buildings and causing social tension as people live cheek by jowl. Legislation has been relaxed to encourage this in building. The UK already has some of the smallest homes, compared to Europe.
– increase in violence and crime. There is a general increase, plus some which is specific to certain ethnicities. Knife (and machete) crime is more frequent, however whilst it captures the headlines, many other forms of crime, not typical to the indigenous population are flourishing. The Asian (Indian subcontinent) grooming gangs rap_ing/assaulting/drugging white children.
– increased demand for extra policing, in the tens of thousands of extra officers required (look at the different police force's online wanted posters, there is a disproportionately higher number of foreign criminals, especially as a proportion of the population)
– increased demand for prison officers, and prison buildings (look at the prison population, where there is again a disproportionately higher number of foreign criminals, especially as a proportion of the population). We are already releasing criminals early, and not imprisoning others, due to a lack of prison places! And the increase in taxes to pay for these.
– increased demand on the judiciary. Our courts are blocked with massive queues, and everything is done to delay cases going to the CPS or going to court. We have a lack of staff and buildings. Very serious cases are rarely reaching the CPS or courts, or take years to go through the system. This causes a lack of justice, an increased risk to the population as criminals continue to live amongst us, and it encourages crime (justice needs to be swift to act as a deterrent).
– the loss of our capital city London. It is now predominantly populated by people who self identify as belonging to an ethnic minority. You rarely hear English spoken! This will also impact tourism – a quarter of a million people work in the tourism sector in London alone. London has the head offices of many top companies, the seat of many scientific and educational organisations, and the main offices of many civil servants – inevitably they will end up recruiting from this immigrant population, that does not have the interests of this country first in their hearts. People with fake qualifications, and with criminal backgrounds uncheckable in the UK, will end up in positions of power.
– greater difficulty in seeing a healthcare professional, be it a GP, Consultant, or dentist
– hospitals frequently declaring emergencies as their A&E queues of ambulances with patients stuck in them grow longer. Even hospitals, in areas with a vast majority of white British population, if you go to the A&E it will be full of people from the middle east, Indian subcontinent, and Africa. Often you won't hear English being spoken!
– increased burden of disabled children, on healthcare, special education needs, and benefits (both for disability, and for the unemployed parents that stay at home caring for their disabled children), unnecessarily caused by cousin marriage, from people from the Indian subcontinent
– lack of school and university places. Pressures to change what is being taught, to suit a minority religious population
– the enormous congestion on all our roads. Even country lanes, which were once peaceful, have now become rat runs
– religious and social tension, especially from ethnicities that are not interested in integrating
– increased suffering of female children subjected to FGM and child marriage
– increased distortion of UK elections, as women from the Indian subcontinent lose their vote to their husbands
MORAL QUESTION – is it morally right to import cheap labour to be exploited?
And what about those skilled migrants, eg nurses and doctors, that are actually needed in their own country. Is it morally right for the UK to benefit from poorer countries paying to educate and train skilled workers?
MENTAL HEALTH BURDEN
The effects of a lot of the above pressures, are seen in a rapid increase in mental health problems across all ages, but especially in the young working adults, adults who should if anything, be the most resilient of society.
FINANCIAL BURDEN
At Budget time in March 2024, the UK National Debt is estimated to be £2.70 trillion!
BIRTH RATE FALSE THEORY
Some people believe in the theory, that we need to import people because of our lower birth rate, and that there is certain work that we don't want to do.
This ignores the fact that we need to increase productivity, especially with automation/robotics/AI (Artificial Intelligence), because other countries will certainly be investing in this, and all of these reduce job vacancies.
Our population might not apply for very low paid jobs, eg picking fruit, or nursing the elderly, but that is because the rates of pay are ridiculously low. Pay a fair wage in an economy that doesn't tilt the table by importing cheap labour! Any organisation or business, who's business model relies on the importation of cheap labour, should not continue, and needs to close.

The British are selling their country for sale. God knows what UK will look like after few years. Another Bangladesh or Nigeria !!
While the low employment rate is obvious to to all and people are struggling to find jobs (hundreds and thousands applying for one job) Sadiq Khan and the like are talking about non-existent labour shortages. What a mess !!
US-based Sapien Labs think tank studies shows that the UK landed 70th out of 71 for overall mental wellbeing just better than Uzbekistan. This puts the UK at the very bottom of the most miserable countries with "worrying" new mental wellbeing just second to Uzbekistan. This is what the likes of Rishi Sunak, Sadik Khan and Humza Yousaf have brought this country with their uncontrolled migration policies. No doubt many of those classified as mentally ill and taking benefits in billions from Gov coffers are healthy and earn undocumented billions in order to evade taxes.
People in UK are struggling to find jobs and the likes of Sadiq Khan & Rishi Sunak are favouring more migration or do not have plan how to reduce the skyrocketing levels. Since the last few years the UK and London don't have labour shortages but excesses. Just in the two years of 2022 and 2023, net migration was 1.4 million. Most of these not only compete for the few jobs but also make their way to permanent residency and citizenship and then to fake benefit claim with this and that kind of mental health and other illnesses and incapacities while earning undocumented billions.
The UK should chose between foreign student fees or subsidizing universities!!. Successive failed governments talk about the non-existent benefits of foreign student fees to the budget as opposed to retraining locals and contribution of asylum seekers to the GDP labour. As a result, they promised work visas for foreign students who flocked in hundreds of thousands every year. Asylum seekers also flooded UK from every European nation because the UK is easy to abuse. If you are asylum seeker, you will stay in a hotel and if you are student you can earn UK work visa and then make your way to long-term residency & citizenship via real or fake job offer or even fake marriages just for a one-year masters study of £20k-30k. Failed Govs don't want to see 1) UK's low employment rate & lack of jobs 2) increased cost of direct cash payments in the form benefits to maintain migrants & dependents 2) the cost of house provision to migrants & dependents including hotels 3) skyrocketing NHS costs 4) cost of free primary & secondary education 5) increased unproductive population & hiking crimes straining the police force, etc. So, what the failed UK governments are doing is trying to fill a leaking barrel. They get money from foreign student fees and little GDP contribution from asylum seekers, then they spend many-folds in every direction to mange the impact these students, asylum seekers & their dependents bring. In short, the UK has been on sale for long and loosing on migration with its over-spent budget.
re Labour shortages. I used to work in kitchens until ill health put an end to that and have seen news reports that the like of restaurants are closed for half the week because they can't get the staff to work there. That's BS The reason they're closed is because they can't get enough customers to make a profit on Mondays, Tuesdays and often Wednesday. All the profits are made Thurs-Sun , it's all down to market forces , supply and demand. I can guarentee if a restaurant is struggling to recruit local staff it's because it's an infamous place to work either because the management are bullies or because you'll be working in a lonely place where you're the only English speaker
There is only one way out for a 'Broken Britain', being a part of EU, fix relation with China, stop wasting money on war against Russia, open to all businesses and skilled workers, scientists, bright minds of all nations while invest your tax money into education of younger generations. But no, the pride of white British working class won't accept that, they would rather being poorer.
The UK has 24m dwellings to house 70m people, 2.9 people per dwelling. France has 31m for the same population so 2.2 people per dwelling. Germany has 43m for 83m people 1.9 people per dwelling. If we wanted to bring down to the ideal minimum which is 2.4 we'd need to build 5m more homes and last year managed 190k.
HK nationals have the lowest employment rate of any nationality at just 52% when nation average is 75%. Of those 52% employed many will be self employed as LLs as many have come with lots of money as average house price in HK is £1.2m and certainty in Bristol they have bought multiple homes to use as income so are not contributing anything at all to UK.
