The few active volcanoes in the world put out more "globally warming" gasses in 1 year than EVERY combustion vehicle that has EVER existed…from the first till today, including airplanes.
Two things can be true at once; people can get injured and there can be spills and it can still be safer and more environmentally safe than other countries. I have no doubt that places like Azerbaijan and Iraq and Russia all have far worse accidents, and are less environmentally safe.
Now we can follow what Europe did and end all oil exploration, which hasn’t made it cooler in Europe, and import and be completely dependent on dictatorships for our energy. Or face the facts of reality.
As for the second part of your loaded line of questioning that tries to, without any evidence other than “trust me bro”, the link between ‘fossil’ fuels and warmer weather is unscientific. Just the same as I can’t say a cold snap in winter disproves climate change.
You sir don’t deserve the sit where you sit, and discuss or have any say or impact on the day to day lives of the general public, you lack the brain power and you certainly have no idea what your talking about when it comes to energy policy and the so called “fixing of the environment”.
