Scientists say climate change is a contributing factor.

This is silly. The problem is not individuals, it's corporations and governments. Individuals will have a negligible impact on this problem. We all want to feel good about recycling but it means nothing because of how it's done. Laws need to be passed enforcing closed loop product cycles. That's governments and corporations not individual consumers.
