  1. I don't understand. Aren't coal powered electricity grids and nuclear reactors ugly and damaging to landscape? solar and wind powered electricity have downsides because no technology is perfect however, I believe until we find better solutions we should try to use them alongside older technologies, each where it can be utilized best. What are you going to do with nuclear waste? fill up the desert with barrels? I ask you not to reject anything but look for the clever middle way, please. Give us people hope of a safe future for our chlldren.

  2. Transmission lines have been around since the days when we got electricity delivered to our homes.
How come these 3 Fuknuckles on this panel only think they are an ugly eyesore now?
Weren't they an eyesore when the power going through them was made by coal?

  3. This shows clearly the incompetence of the Labour Greens government. They won't listen to those who have already tried it and failed. Any wonder Aussies don't trust Albo on his assurances about the voice.

  4. Its a DISRACE HOW THIS LABOUR PARTY USEING MARFIA LIKE TACTICS TO SWAY THE PUBLIC.,But SORRY ALBANESE (FAKE AUSTRALIAN,)WE ARE ONTO YOUR SCAM,.THROWING AWAY TRILLIONS OF $ THATS NOT YOURS,AND VANDALISING FERTILE FARM LAND,CREATING AMN EYE SAW AND BULLDOZING TREES ,ADDING TO CLIMATE CHANGE? and species extinction.RENEWABLES ENERGY JUST DONT WORK NEVER WILL ,AND PRICES WILL NEVER STOP RISSDING.PI** OFF LABOUR .YOU FAILED MISERABLY/.

  5. So why are we moving to net zero again???…..
On the premise of a pile of bullshit, isnt it……. wtf is humanity turning into……
I'm sick of our leaders and commentators talking about any of this nonsense with any hint of seriousness….

Those at the top need destroying, like now… before humanity is destroyed…
    Over it.

  6. Dr. Gillespie mentioned the word "de-industrialization," which is entirely accurate. This whole evil scheme is to put Australia back in the days before we had reliable power; modern civilizations must have reliable power, not only to prosper, but to exist at all. If this goes through, expect the countryside to be ravaged and people left without electricity, as Australia devolves into pre-industrial times. You want hard yakka, a short and brutish life, and starvation? That's what we'll get with Net Zero!

  7. I'm surprised Hunter Biden never squeezed any cash out of Australia.

Looks like there are a lot of wheels getting greased.

I suppose Hunter specialized in enemies of America, so Australia wasn't on his laptop..

  8. You people bying electric cars you will regret remeber lpg gas in my days that was 65 cents when a lot of people cwiched to gas taxies as well where is gas now you all will pay through the nose what's your electricity bills at moment on top of changing that battery and it's not 250 dollar's from NRMA

  9. During manufacture those damn wind turbines use a chemical known as Sulphur Hexafluoride SF6 its is over 26,000 times more harmful to the environment that CO2 could ever been assuming CO2 is harmful. Germany has already seen problems with almost every type of crop and plant across the country but its all about saving the planet right?
Solar farms take up hundreds of thousands of arable farmland and wildlife habitats. I thought we were saving the planet. We'll be paying the piper when its time to dispose of these things. The proverbial will really hit the rotary blower then.

  10. Control sheep’s mind & you control the herd.
Renewables – for the greater good.
Investors stand to make billions . The herd pays us for providing scam services to control the weather – for the greater good.
    Global Socialism .

  11. It is better to generate electricity close to the point of use , the cost of sending it long distance is very high and inconvenient as the renewables show , Australia should forget about setting a good example and keep coal and gas power until the Asians show that they are willing to go solar and wind ,CHINA and India are still building coal and oil /gas power stations so why doesn’t Australia.

  12. Why did the electron go to therapy? It had too many negative thoughts. #PhysicsHumor Remember, while the situation in renewable energy might be complex, at least electrons keep it light-hearted in their own way! 😉

  13. These dill brain city greenies and luvies think food comes from a supermarket and energy from a plug. EVs use fossil fuels. They do not even know that. Mention nuclear and all you hear is Chernobyl (Ukraine ) and Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Japan). Both countries use nuclear in adundance duur. Bill Shortbread (Shorten) wouldn't even consider it stating that there is more chance of looking for Unicorns. These people are ideologically warped.

  14. Well we don't have an Australian government, we only have corporation seats in once was our own government. Make your laws , when the people turn and thay will , we will make sure to take out the partys and government senators that caused the fall of our once proud country.

  15. Bye bye Albo…..labour has lost the plot. Hidden agenda's, bugger off, WE DON'T WANT SUCH STUPIDITY….ALBO, YOU WORK FOR US…SUPPOSEDLY, LABOUR YOU LOSE. MORE WORRIED ABOUT PLEASING MINORITIES. NOT HOW DEMOCRACY WORKS ALBO.
I was involved in building a wind farm in Antarctica at a place called Mawson Station. It didnt work without diesel generators running to maintain a base load. Due to the reality of producing energy with wind, up and down wind speeds, tripping wind turbines due to wind speeds being too high, etc etc….hello. Didn't work without a base load, relying on Diesel.
We also set up a field hut that ran solely on hydrogen produced by wind power, including the Honda Quads they used. Where did all that data go Dpt of Environment….????
