I enjoy that CH4 have been misrepresenting these comments as Sunak claiming to have scrapped government policies that didn't exist. But he very clearly and blatantly says "THE PROPOSAL to do X won't happen, I've scrapped it." Ie. He's saying he's taken those proposals off the table, they won't ever be considered by him.
At least someone at CH4 had the integrity to post the actual clip of what was said. Must have been an intern.
