Richard Tice has hit out at eco-zealots, suggesting that other nations around the world are ‘laughing’ at the UK in its mission to hit net zero targets.
He said: “They don’t care that net zero is going to make us poorer. It’s going to make us colder. They don’t care that old cold people sadly die early.
“As long as they’re making the cash, that’s fine by them. Remember, in my view, net zero is the greatest act of financial self harm ever imposed on a nation voluntarily by its leaders.
“It’s both financially negligent. It’s criminally negligent. I’m going to be at the forefront of this battleground. Net zero is net stupid.”

Net Zero, if it ever becomes practical, will have to be achieved by ALL countries, not just the West. Until or unless that happens, talk of net zero is just that – talk – and nothing more. Britain achieving net zero will not have the slightest effect on emissions unless countries like China and India, with their huge populations, do the same. But of course, there is more chance of Bugs Bunny becoming the next US President or Larry the Downing Street Cat becoming the next British Prime Minister than China and India and others reducing their emissions to zero.

We are loading huge debt on our kids and grand kids, to pay for wind and solar that WILL NOT WORK when it is needed most, at least in the volume and capacity that we need during winter.
