  1. War is fighting to take a bigger piece of the pie. Climate action is working together to stop us burning the whole pie leaving all of us hungry.

    Maybe the pie metaphor works?

  2. Also factor in Russian leadership wanting the Arctic frozen at the expense of the 99% of the Earth population. The Russian climate models in the IPCC model ensembles have been suspiciously tweaked to make outcomes less severe than the already under predicting other models, as proven by a climate scientist audit of the models sensitivities. Russian agriculture might benefit in the long run for melting Arctic while the net global agriculture production will be severely damaged. Russia has big investments in Arctic oil production and northern shipping so wants a melted Arctic which will trigger severe climate changes and must be prevented with restoration i.e. geoengineering to undue the last 150 years of damaging climate change.

  3. The warmongers and power brokers of this fallen world don't care. They don't care for life. But they will when they are burning or starving and that is the fate that awaits each and every one of us. No one is safe from climate change.

  4. I don’t see how we could possibly make for example Putin not want to continue to invade Europe. And not investing in a miliary defence, is literally like for example France letting Germany invade them during the second world war, to avoid further bloodshed. The war doesn’t stop when you let fascists invade you. Eventually you’re going to need a D-day. And I have no idea how we could make aggressors change their mind.
