  1. Less air pollution more co2 = much faster warming or normal warming when not putting things in the air that kinda cool the earth.
Really all cities and towns need to replace grass with native edible landscaping all the empty spots you see on off ramps the massive open dirt or rock spots they put art in but no plants like put native plants trees grasses bushes succulents cactus anything to help and reduce are water demand.

  2. Let´s spend a lot of money to ruin our economy thus sacrificing the poor to then not save the climate (as we have been doing)! The only thing thats renewable about renewable energy is the energy, the machines are not. Nuclear is possible and humanity first instead of this strange environment>humanity narrative.

  3. It is not too late from a physical perspective but it is from a political one. People are not prepared to make the sacrifices necessary to reduce the climate. Once you understand that nothing will be changed that they will keep drilling until the ocean boils. Then you will be in a more politically realistic frame of mind.

  4. With 10°C in the pipeline even if net zero were to be achieved tomorrow, it’s far too late for net zero. That’s according to top climate scientist Jim Hansen. The only hope is cloud brightening.

  5. if climate change drastically decreases the carrying capacity of the planet, it is absolutely imperative that the most sustainable populations are prioritized over the populations most responsible for this crisis.

  6. Adam- you are optimistic- I am not. There is no political will to change- Was just watching tv( ugh)-exacerbated floods, tornadoes, accelerating wars, an authoritarian push worldwide, record temps. Pease read Lyle Lewis Racing to Extinction. Adam- its overshoot. Plastics- consumerism-capitalism- all of it destroying the natural world . Thanks for your efforts- but " it ain't gonna happen". Peace 🕊️🕊️🌎

  7. We are on the right path, the instruments we use momentarily do work and we'll probably be 'over the hump' in global emissions in a few years. But that only means be need to push those instruments which work AND get more new Instruments.

  8. It’s scary how many people in the U.S. still don’t believe in it. I live in North Carolina where the flood was after hurricane Helene and there’s a lot of thoughts and prayers but not enough conversation about climate change and lifestyle changes. That is what scares me the most. The apathy and denial.

  9. It's scary how so many educators with huge platforms always say the same thing… which for some people is very difficult to achive. (Stop using fossil fuels)…. Why oh why not tell people to go vegan instead? It's the one thing people can do starting NOW. Voting for change 3 times a day! Not every few years, or once there is enough to get an EV and such. If the climate CRISIS is such a pressing issue, why in the world are y'all so hellbent on refusing to focus on animal agriculture?

  10. It is too late, sorry Adam, but it is and you know it. You see the same peer reviewed papers as I do.

The Methane is being set loose, the rainforest in large part are now emitters, and we can't stop it where it is.

Head to the poles, to survive. Olivine could slow it down, but nobody even thinks about it.
