Nationals Leader David Littleproud says Australia can have an energy “mix” because the country has “sovereignty of all our resources”.
Opposition leader Peter Dutton is being criticised for delaying the release of his nuclear energy policy.
The Coalition was set to unveil the full details of its nuclear plans before the May Budget.
“That’s what we’re saying is – we can have a mix because we have sovereignty of all our resources in this country,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.
“That’s the sensible way instead of putting all your energy eggs in one basket.”

CO2 is not driving a climate crisis, and even economists have stated that it would be cheaper to adapt later than try to prevent now even if there was a crisis. This is about something else which is making a few elites and China very rich off of fear mongering and sensationalism.
