Geologist Ian Plimer says Australia has ridges “covered” in wind turbines.
Mr Plimer told Sky News host Rita Panahi that there is “prime agriculture land” in valleys covered by solar panels.
“And what we don’t hear from the Greens is the long-term effects from the pollution.
“When we get rid of solar panels, we leave a huge environmental disaster behind.
“And these are areas which later we might want to use for growing food.”

It gets worse solar panels have a limited life 25-30 years then they should be replaced due to significantly reduced power output. Then the clear protective cover on solar panels is made from hydrocarbons. The eco misinformation is staggering. The greens are the biggest risk to global warming they are advocating for stupid solutions and refuse to compromise. They pushed electric cars the biggest environmental disaster so far. Most electric cars charged from coal fired power stations. If you care about the environment do not vote for the greens.
