  1. Wait what?? Water is rising due to climate change….right? I am terrified if anything changes in any way shape and form… can I give extra taxes.

  2. Wow! We've NEVER seen drought before. And fires never happened before 20 years ago! And heavy rain or flooding has never happened before either! ClImAtE cHaNgE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

  3. The old story of the repairman grilling the owner of broken down machinery comes to mind "what the hell did you do to it?!?" When the repairman is confronted by such a situation as this. So, Canaduh, what the hell have you done?!?

  4. I think the change in flow can be understood as an early warning signal of a change in state of the hydrological system. A shift in regime from a Holocene type of rainfall runoff regime (basically a stable system on the annual basis of weather and stream flow during the last 10000 years) to a system where we see big floods interspersed with drought on the annual basis. This will likely be the state of the system until a new equilibrium state is reached. Given the greenhouse gas induced energy imbalance in the earths energy budget (too much long wave radiation persists in the environment due to atmospheric carbon blocking the escape of long wave radiation to space) i can only guess what the equilibrium state will be. Perhaps dry and denuded slopes. But by 2040 or 2050 we could see modern industrialized societies collapsing from over consumption and pollution of natural resources as predicted by Club of Rome’s Limits to Growth model results.

  5. Take a look at the Satellite images of BC and the total Forrest Losses due to Fires , Clear Cutting to send wood pallets to Drax Power Station in the UK. Looking at spreadsheet numbers is one thing, look at the graphic evidence will wake you up Global TV.

  6. So in a two-year stretch, we’ve had record highs to record Lows, but it’s all been because of climate change. Climate change has become that convenient excuse for absolutely everything that happens that we don’t understand completely.
