Only a fool would buy any property located on a US east coast or west coast beach at this point, and this stuff is only going to get worse, not better. Heck, in Florida, even if you do not live on a beach you are likely unable to get a proper insurance policy on your home due to all the increasing hurricanes and hurricane damage down there and insurers refusal to insure for any sane price.
