Nuclear for Australia Founder William Shackel says nuclear power is one of the only “guaranteed pathways” for Australia to decarbonise.
This follows Opposition leader Peter Dutton revealing the Coalition’s nuclear plan, including the seven sites where they plan to establish the nuclear power stations.
“100 per cent renewables is not proven,” Mr Shackel said.
“No country has been able to decarbonise its whole economy based on Australia’s risky, current plan.”

Form those that say nuclear reactors are clean energy then move to Chernobyl or scenic Fukushima. What about the wastewater from the reactors when it has to be changed oh but it is within tolerant levels then you use the water for everyday use, bath, laundry, drink it. Until there is a way to neutralize radioactive waste. This is dangerous there is not a safe place on earth to even consider any possibility of release of this radioactivity even the smallest risk is too much to destroy miles of earth for how many hundreds of thousands of years. The planet is not stable its surface is always shifting and moving just because one cannot see this in their lifetime does not mean it doesn't move. Neutralize the radioactivity in Chernobyl and Fukushima where it is safe to live first when that can happen then say it is safe.
William is speaking for the aspirations of intelligent young people. Albanese and Bowen and their incompetent ministers are speaking for the Greens. Not speaking for us. And their stupid loser policies are sending us over a cliff. God bless William. Smart. Informed. Brave.

The current 2 nuke plant being build in USA is behind schedule and above cost.
Australia have largest Uranium reserve and Australian is not using Nuclear power plant… It is foolish… Like asking Saudi Arabia to don't drive petrol car.

Lets look into what is making Albosleazy and The Ministry of Corruption wet their pants. Look up Clean Energy Finance Corporation and see for yourself it was given 35 billion to finance start ups and companies of our funds and the 2 Ministers in control of this as Chief Members of the Board are no other than Chris Bowen and Katy Gallagher along with six or more laborites as board members. They have sighed eye watering contracts to finance many overseas corporations to carry out buying Large Farms to install renewables. Bloomberg Finance in America have estimated that to complete installing renewables the CEFC will require Trillions of dollars of our money to complete renewable installation and Trillions more to install all the poles and wires.
Remember, the people most angry at nuclear are those who will lose government funding for green projects which either don't work or are short term. None want government owned generation

whats the obsession with the net zero nonsense? Their big fear is the temperature will increase by 1.5C in 100 years. if we use coal, cheap, plentiful and 100% reliable everyone can afford to use their air cons when its 1.5C warmer.
