I spent 20 years fighting climate change as a career. But after seeing the things Americans say on social media, I no longer believe humans are worthy of protection.
Nobody I know who is honest about climate change can have a job in academia.

70% of all GHG's are released by the 100 top Multi National Corporations. It will not be controlled with out Strict Regulations, Harsh Fines, Carbon and Wealth Taxes. Any effort or contribution by the Individual is Merely Symbolic. And at best upholding the Myth that the Individual can accomplish anything when the 1% to 5% in Wealth produce about 90% of the remaining 30%. And they are not cutting back on anything. There are already enough GHG's in the Atmosphere and Ocean to increase warming for Centuries, we need Carbon Direct Atmospheric Capture technology at Scale and Scope, which is an Enormous $20T Initial Global Investment. Going even 100% Green doesn't solve everything, just the Input. The GHG's don't just fall out of the Sky after we stop putting more in. Will Corporate Media ever print the real Climate Chaos News. Jeff Bezos got more Corporate Media Coverage for dumping 15 Human Annual Carbon Footprints into the Atmosphere in 10 minutes than Climate Chaos itself has received all year!
The average America emits about 15 Tons of GHGs into the atmosphere a Year. The Taylor Swift Eras tour emitted over 500,000 Tons of GHGs into the atmosphere in a Year. Not all Humans are equal when it comes to causing Climate Chaos.
Did you know that every NASCAR Event pumps about 500,000 Tons of GHGs into the Sky? The Tires alone pump about 150,000 Tons of GHG Emissions and Pollutants into the Sky, then add all the Fans and Vendors getting to the Event, the Promotions and Websites set up to promote the Event. the deep Blue Sky will not be Blue much longer. Every NASCAR Event is a Carbon Bomb the size of a Super Bowl.

@barg: That is nothing compared to the 10’s of thousands uncapped unused oil wells all over the globe. U.S. Europe Middle East. Big oil raped the Gulf of Mexico, remember the Deep Horizon oil debacle in 2010. The spread millions of tons Benzene to try and clean it up. A real no- no, it ended up heating up the Gulf as well as the Atlantic Ocean deep currents. Florida has dead sharks and other fish floating to the surface. Not to mention many cases of Leprosy and flesh eating viruses. Texas is a totally toxic enviros because of their lack of regulations are all in trouble, to mention a single artists use of energy is extremely childish. Get real!
thank you, it will change soon, there are other source of energy that with international cooperation in coastline, we can reduce global warming, sea is huge source of energy, further more we can prevent these phenomena like cyclone and flood and wildfire by using this hot seasonal atmospheric condition, recent years in summer, geothermal energy happens in surface of coastline, there are many countries in coastline with seasonal hot weather and water condition, in sum-up, by using this energy not only is economical but also reduce global warming in countries like Japan, China, India, Mediterranean countries, Iran, Mexico, Us, Canada, (Africa and Arabian countries….) .
