Why are we having “diverse “ tv advertisements. Almost every ad shows black husband , white wife & mixed race children. Why is this being pushed? Rarely do you see black husband & wife & black children & the same with white families. I know of a few mixed families but the majority are all black or all white. I live in Brent, one of the most multi cultural areas & I can attest to the fact that generally people of each nationality sticks together. Asians, Romanians & all the other nationalities stick to their own but that is not reflected in adverts nor in some films. It’s time this propaganda was stopped.

I think that Ed has been doing his homework. Here in the British isles we have an absolutely massive capacity for wind generation; so much so that if we build out sufficient generating capacity and battery storage to power the country on the coldest, darkest, windless days in winter, we'd have an unimaginable surplus on windy days in summer. Wind and solar is now the cheapest way to generate electricity EVER and we don't have to go grovelling to dodgy regimes for gas or oil etc. You might question climate change, but it's cold hard economics that are driving this disruption and any country that ignores this does so at their peril.
