Thereâs a change happening to the planet that might sound counterintuitive at first: the Earth is getting greener. Over the last four decades, researchers have measured Earthâs overall color profile from satellite view, analyzing where the planet is âgreeningâ or âbrowning.â In that time, the amount of green vegetation has increased dramatically. How did that happen?

China sprayed fields with green paint and not green seed spray material.
Humans: we making earth đ greener
Nature: huh
Is that good or bad
Thank you China
Take this @climatetown
Intersting
It still isn't a good thing . Nothing can replace old forests
3rd explanation is reforestation
How is it weird if you have common sense about climate xhange
its called greenhouse gas for a reason :y
This isnât too surprising to someone who lives in Utah county. A desert now jam packed with trees

humans: sorry for the expansion man
earth: i d e m a n d t h e c o 2
The majority of oxygen creation and co2 absorption comes from grass and floor flora. Not trees and crops. So yeah weâre planting more plants but the types of plants weâre planting arenât the types that actually make the biggest impact. If we want to use plants to make an impact, weâre gonna have to turn the Sahara desert into the Sahara grasslands
So CO2 is good now? I thought it was a poison…..
Yes need to reduce carbon especially the two legged kind – right?
Nah this could happens greatly bcs of 3rd reason : Borneo's island desertification…
If the ice age ended ten thousand years ago and we only Began our industries 200 years ago and the climate change that melted the glaciers killed the mammoth off and ended the ice age in north America and that wasn't our fault. But now since its continuing to melt, it is our fault …funny how the earth climate changes and it ,has changed it will change and allways can change long before us and long after so its kind of an odd stance, is it not? To think that è
Probably also a result of the increased CO2, which is thus good for crop yields
@vox is there a long version of this video?
My favorite gree area to look at with these satellite is gaza's agricultural farms and housing
So plants are being treated like livestock. Where they're being compartmentalized and restricted, while also being overfed. Still feeling so high and mighty vegans?
But that mean we are losing water
'probably not' …… science.
Change is good.
We'd be able to solve global hunger if we stopped eating meat. Just sayin'.
Theres also that global warming leads to increased rainfall. Something the left hates to admit
Climate Change đđ do you really think the Earth hasn't experienced all sorts of climate changes over the thousands and thousands and thousands of years of existence? You remember the Earth had an Ice Age right? Are you going to blame the Ice Age all those thousands of years ago on humans?
Basically were gonna wind up with giant plants in a couple decades
Of course companies will see this and go 'great bigger vegetables to sell'
