  1. "In 2004 a gallop poll said global warming was becoming a partisan issue" I knew someone back in high school in the 90's that thought 'we're getting taught nonsense this isn't real' so it was obviously an issue before then it just took that long for people to actually start to take notice… over a decade too late.

  2. In Canada, during Stephen Harper's painfully long reign of destruction, government scientists were forbidden from talking directly to the press unless they had been given approval by the Harper Government. Guess which kinds of scientists never got approval.

I wonder if that was ever undone or if Turdeau found it just as useful as Harper had. I should look into that.

  3. Kindly get bent with this passive aggressive "you don't watch us when we talk about important things" schtick. I get that it's hard when petty takedown pieces are more popular but injecting this whining into the more important issue of climate changes just cheapens it and makes it even harder to pay attention to and care about.

  4. Cody! Love you man! Just curious: would you ask your sponsors if they would pay the same amount for placing their links in the dooblydoo and the pinned comment, without the reading during the video. It had it's time, the readings. I bet it is not only me who are getting tired of the ad reads.

I bet even more of us might actually click on the links, without the reading. Seriously. Abrazo! K

  5. You do a great job of being a condescending ass. Love how you take your certainty and match it up against his questions. One thing I know is it's better to have questions than have a belief. Specially if it's based on something that's always changing. …. talking about science, not the environment, which for that matter is always changing too, just like you and me. Go on……

  6. The most american thing any american ever did is to let the climate kill us all because otherwise the countries you have bullied for 80 years MIGHT secure better lives for their citizens, white people feeling insecure might just be the most lethal thing on this planet.

  7. I'm from the future and a category 2 hurricane reached rural North Carolina and has so far killed 200 people. The problem for me isn't that we can adapt. The problem is the people most vulnerable without the means to protect themselves probably won't. North Carolina also showed than nowhere is truly safe. All of this is before shit TRULY starts to hit the fan.

With all this and taking into account human greed, dirty money in politics, just straight up stupidity from "scholars" like Jordan Peterson, and the harsh reality that it'll be too late once newer generations actually get into power to change anything, it all feels like doomerism is our only viable option since everything else is stacked against is.

  8. There are so many potential climate solutions that benefit society while reducing emissions. Including increasing community involvement, cooperatives, community gardens etc. get out in your communities if you are able!

  9. Very disappointing to see LobosJr's brother doing a propaganda advert for big oil companies. I have enjoyed the content he's made with Lobos, and I understand that actors need to take work, but surely they have to draw a line on advertising for those companies and spreading dangerous lies.

  10. I get you aren’t happy with Bidens actions on drilling, but I think his goal wa to make America energy independent, especially when gas prices shot up like crazy.

And part of that involves increasing oil production in the short term while his renewable energy subsidies take time to be built and go into effect.

And on that front, he’s done a pretty good job of making the US less reliant on foreign energy.

  11. Science is almost always been wrong about almost everything so it makes it hard to trust the science, especially nowadays when politicians think that they are the science whatever the fuck that supposed to mean
