I got super into making kits which has markedly improved my quality of life and preparedness. Just assembling small kits of things you find useful to keep in your car, house, camping gear, etc. really helps with solving lifes little problems AND as a bonus you are more prepped for emergencies/natural disasters

Axe in the attic incase you need to break through the roof. Anyway my workplace is a shelter not open to the public or anything but we can stay up in running for about 90 days without outside contact. Our biggest issue was actually the city water last time. We have electricity, we can run satellite internet, sleeping on a yoga mat isn’t too bad.
Cell phone batteries won’t be very useful anymore since phone manufacturers don’t allow them to be removed.
Where is the knife? A knife is essential to many situations, and also can easily substitute a can opener. By the way, a can opener? Do you really need a can opener so much?
