I hold a PhD in thermal radiation science. I want to let the public know, as I do with the scientists I work with who aren't necessarily experts in my field, that carbon dioxide radiation is not fundamentally different from that of water vapour or steam. That is because both are non-scattering gases made of small molecules. To say one is dangerous, whilst the other isn't, like the NASA website pretends, is utterly absurd, not to mention the concentrations in the atmosphere aren't even comparable (factor 100 difference).
I just read a Wikipedia article where the writer feels compelled to clarify that carbon dioxide, contrarily to popular belief, is not a pollutant. This is very telling of how far the narrative has gone. Of course it is not, and it has never been, because it has been present on earth for billions of years and is admittedly essential to life.

If the powers that be were actually serious about solving our energy problems, they would release some of the inventions/patents that were confiscated and classified "Top Secret" under the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951. The Invention Secrecy Act of 1951 is a body of United States federal law designed to prevent disclosure of new inventions and technologies that, in the opinion of selected federal agencies, present an alleged threat to the economic stability or national security of the United States. There are more than 5,700 inventions/patents that have been confiscated since the passing of this piece of legislature. The problem for a few greedy people, and maybe the economy, is you can't put a meter on some of these technologies.
There are over 8 billion people on earth, and most live far more impoverished lives than in the United States or top half dozen nations, they would all like and ideally should have things like refrigeration transportation cooking and maybe air conditioning.
As long as there is no alternative to fossil fuels and I'd like to explain to me Epstein no alternative means zero sum economies and geopolitics even if we magically didn't have to think about global warming pollution war and other effects of fossil use. Americans and a few other wealthy nations live well not by virtues of free market, but the military muscle to control the price and distribution of energy.
Renewable energy has serious problems, but if 5 billion people just wanted cars and air conditioners too, there's not enough fuel to go around and would raise prices of fuels to make Americans poor as them.
There's rich energy and lean energy, probably sadly, top nations will ration fossil fuels to maintain economies keeping other people poor. Renewable lean energy, even if low density/intermittent would greatly improve their condition.

If you accept the greenhouse impact is caused by burning fossil fuels, them burning ever increasing amounts to mitigate ever increasing impacts simply puts you in a doom loop. The issue is one of extremes and timeframes. It is also, right now, the ability of the poor to access mitigating technologies…aircon being one example. There are many problems with the views put forward in this clip. Capitalism can't be allowed to run unchecked…if it did, the whole world would be polluted and public goods destroyed in the fullness of time.
