This is the time of year when meteorologists are on the lookout for hurricanes forming over the Atlantic Ocean. As Global News has previously reported, those hurricanes are increasingly super-sized because of warmer ocean waters, caused by climate change.
This year, though, things have been exceptionally quiet, with no major hurricanes since Aug. 12th – which is highly unusual.
As our Eric Sorensen reports, the lack of hurricanes could be yet another signal our planet’s climate systems are growing out of sync.

You can describe fewer storms and smaller deserts as examples of the climate changing, but so called "Climate Change" does NOT CAUSE anything.
We humans are not responsible for the weather or "Climate Change" or any of the things we are being blamed for.
How about reporting on all of the good and beneficial progress we humans can legitimately take credit for?

Climate change can't be predicted because models use historical record data for predicting weather patterns. Nobody really knows what types of experiments scientists around the world are playing with trying to manipulate weather. Every action has consequences and experimenting with mother nature isn't very smart. Natural disasters and environmental changes affects climate change models in ways that is unpredictable. Our world is changing and we are changing it on a daily basis. People not taking climate change seriously! Do people realize that climate change is from cost of living, investing and ideas to create opportunity creating more of the same that creates climate change to begin with. As time passes theories and science continues to be rewritten from learning but humanity is not learning the most significant thing in our lifetime. We corrupt our environment with climate change. The scientific evidence has proven that humanity is the cause for the rapid change and unpredictable weather patterns on our planet.
Change your perception of what you think should happen because its wrong. Money won't solve climate change and it never will. The global markets are collapsing for one simple reason. Investing creates hyperinflation from using debt and investing funds that expect returns from investment. All your doing is creating another slave market with climate change investing that will cause demand for money by the people creating increased activity to pay for the cost. That reason is because of stupidity of the governments and wealthy people around the world trying to enforce a policy to profit off climate change that will only create a cost for the change to the people not creating any solutions that will prevent any further damage from climate change. The people of the world are dumping retirement accounts. The people are dumping investments and liquidating assets they don't need to create deflation of cost of living. Governments and wealthy people not taking climate change seriously abusing the system to profit off the people has ended. The people are revolting dumping all their investments globally to punish those who hold power over the people. To solve climate change there can be no cost of living. That reduces global activity and limits resource demand. Worldwide resources and fossil fuels will be reduced 90% if there is no cost of living. Do you know how easy it would be to change the world to no cost of living. We have the resources and technology to make this happen. It is time to use what we have learned and stop the ambitious waste to create for money that causes climate change to begin with. There is a cause and effect from everything humans do on this planet. The climate change summit will focus on money instead of actually creating real solutions. Dependency is humanities greatest weakness in the modern world. AI and data centers are pushing energy demand to the brink of collapse as well. Independent survival is a must to slow down activity on this planet. It is so simple so why hasn't it started yet. Home, solar and grow your own food. That should be the easiest step to begin. Everyone needs a home and independence so people need to stop treating people like slaves. Independence is priceless and you can't put a value on life. World resources belong to everyone and nothing should have a cost. Resources however should be rationed globally to keep activity low. As long as each home has everything they need to survive people will be happier and intelligence will rise in society again. The system and society has been broke for so long people need to slow down and reflect on there mistakes of how they live their life. The people don't have to protest or incite violent behavior to get the attention for change. Just hit them where it hurts the most. When markets become worthless and currency loses all value those corrupting the people around the world will lose all influence and power. Change begins as more people acknowledge the truth behind cost of living and climate change. A peaceful world creates a rebirth of nature and over time our world will cleanse our environment. We just have to have the courage to make that first step. After common sense hits the world and independence is created for everyone without cost then we can focus on the future. We learn from our mistakes and create a better world that benefits all life on this planet. A balance is created where nobody has more than another. Equality and balance will create world peace.

The sarcastic uninformed comments here are a testimony to our devolution back to early humans living in caves and bashing eachother's skull in. Looks to me like the world's weather is shifting west, so the "cyclones" in the western Pacific may be the new normal and are just another word for "hurricane".
So, because of "climate change" we will get bigger an more frequent hurricanes. But, much less hurricane activity in 2024 so now the "experts" are claiming that the lack of hurricanes is proof of catastrophic climate change. Hopefully people are seeing the lack of science and how this stuff is mainly just hype that is pushed down our throats before important elections to get out the emotional, illogical vote. The whole climate crisis propaganda also serves to line many pockets with American tax dollars all around the planet.
We could just make artificial ice cubes and throw em into the artic sea im just saying you tryna cool the planet put more ice in your iced coffee ik but it's more realistic than changing society

This happened in the western Sahara in 2003 and many times before… nothing about climate change then
