The Prime Minister has outlined plans to invest 22 billion pounds in carbon capture projects on Merseyside and Teesside.
While it’s designed to keep carbon out of the atmosphere, campaigners, including Greenpeace, say the initiative will only extend the life of oil and gas production.

Carbon capture doesn't work, it's been proven to be totally ineffective and incredibly overrated. This is a colossal waste of tax payer money.
