  1. The Nuclear Plant Project was supposed to happen back in 2009 and it would have been active in 2012 but the U.S shot down the project leading enigneers and professors plane 10 died 1 didnt make the flight and survived. So dont get salty when Turkey does things differently today.

  2. This is reported from western eyes only. No mention of Türkiye's perception of double standards and undermining Turkish legitimate interests. Kurdish terrorism, Mediterranean boxing in, neighbour hostilities and the rights of Turkish Cypriots.

  3. Turkey's pivot towards the East is a natural progression, Turkey's membership in BRiCS is a natural. Turkey has long wanted EU membership receiving nothing but false promises from the EU, driving Turkey away from Nato alliance. If Nato wanted to keep Turkey. in the alliance then the EU should have reached out to Turkey and given Turkey membership. This rejection of Turkey is largely responsible for Turkey's pivot to the East, this pivot will actually benefit Turkey immensely , securing its position in a rapidly growing BRICS block. BRICS is the future, Nato is coming apart at the seams due to their own actions and missteps..

  4. Why NATO should be shocked with Turkiye trying to get independent in energy needs? West/NATO ignores Turkiye's energy and defence needs and then complain why they are getting these needs fulfilled elsewhere. World is more shocked with genocide going on in Gaza right now, rather than worrying about internal matters of other countries

  5. Turkey is an energy-dependent country, with energy accounting for the bulk of its import expenditure. The plant in question is a major project that started long before the sanctions against Russia. What is not mentioned in the video is that Turkey has also made huge LNG deals with the United States in the field of energy diversification. Turkey is one of the countries with the highest number of missions in NATO. Turkey reminded that NATO is a defense alliance, not an offensive alliance, and stated that it would be wrong for NATO to be in a position to clash with Russia.
Nevertheless, it brought the Ukrainian and Russian sides together in Istanbul in 2022. A ceasefire agreement was about to be signed, but the Ukrainian side backed out after ten minutes of intervention by the UK. For Ukraine, the Istanbul ceasefire agreement in 2022 had much better terms than the terms of a new ceasefire agreement that is currently being discussed. The terms are now much worse for Ukraine. On the other hand, Russia borders Turkey (both in Russia and Syria) and the two countries have had a close relationship for 100 years. They share the Black Sea and use the straits. Even if Turkey supports Ukraine's territorial integrity, it would be a very difficult decision for a non-NATO country, at least for Turkey, to discard close neighborly relations and become an adversary with Russia. War should not be a fait accompli.

NATO could have prevented this war from the very beginning. Giving Ukraine hope that it could become a NATO member was wrong from the very beginning. When we look at it from today, we are experiencing very painfully how wrong decisions one after another are about to destroy a country. It is becoming clear how right Turkey’s warnings and cautions to Europe and NATO are. Because Turkey’s interests with Russia overlap with EU countries on many issues. The problem with NATO is that the US is the sole decision maker. Therefore, European and Eurasian interests are ignored in favor of the US.

One reason for this is that the risk of the war spreading to the American continent is almost impossible.

But Europe is not in a position to tolerate large-scale wars. We should object more to such critical decisions concerning our region and convince the US for more diplomacy. Even if we win the war, the fact that the war took place in our home means that we lost from the very beginning.
