Critical minerals are a vital part of the contemporary U.S.-India relationship. The Indian government is implementing policies to enhance domestic production and processing of these minerals, aiming to bolster its position in global supply chains. As a strategic ally, India plays an important role in reducing the United States’ dependence on China for essential critical minerals. Notably, India was the first developing nation to join the U.S. Department of State’s Minerals Security Partnership, and the two governments have recently advanced discussions on formalizing bilateral minerals cooperation.
Please join the CSIS Critical Minerals Security Program for a conversation on U.S.-India cooperation for critical minerals security. Ambassador Geoffrey R. Pyatt, Assistant Secretary for Energy Resources, U.S. Department of State, will join Gracelin Baskaran, Director of the Critical Minerals Security Program, and Richard M. Rossow, Senior Adviser and Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at CSIS.
This event is made possible by general funding to CSIS and the CSIS Critical Minerals Security Program.

Ypu have already lost the war over strategic minerals😊
Americans don't talk about Africa countries without calling China. America had their chance and they faffed it.
Thank you for your report.
👍
Fuck carbon emission goals. India did not pollute the air. If the west wants to stop India then they better pay us either through tech transfers or monetary compensation.
Is this about the "forbidden pasta"
america decline is inevitable!
America never used there natural resources much. They are soo clever because they always look minerals outside there country.
Wow great for both the countries.
THERE IS NO PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN INDIA. THE ONLY ROLE FOR INDIA IN THIS RELATIONSHIP IS USE INDIA TO CONTAIN CHINA. INDIA IS JUST A TOOL IN THE HANDS OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE..THE GOAL IS TO KEEP INDIA POOR. IF INDIA WAS AS SUCCESSFUL AS CHINA INDIA Will BE AN ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN EMPIRE. AMERICA HAS NO FRIENDS NO ALLIES ONLY VASSALS.
It is prosprecturous how they speak of other's peoples resources as is going to be theirs. But the best par was about doing better mining.Hahaha rule of law, courts, if these guys had been the only ones around doing horrible things now are saying they will be the best for workers rights and environment… Funny, the Chinese and eve the Russians have a better record on all these issues, better reputation not the other way around. The better model of mining will be possible when the actual western mining model around the world changes now. Most mining in the world is still made by western companies. All this Blablabla is because chinese, russians and others are getting all the licences because of that exactly bad mining model and reputation the west has.
