What happens if the barrier goes up and someone gets trapped on the water side, especially if there’s no backup motor or battery? While the barriers aren’t particularly tall, there could still be critical situations—such as someone in a wheelchair—where lowering the barrier quickly is essential. In emergencies like these, there should be at least a manual option, such as a hand crank, to ensure there’s a backup plan!
So in case of a flash flood this is basically useless since I'll have to wait for it go up after the flood already went inside my house.
