Asheville is NOT fine or okay as you say !! No water in many places hospital and schools drilling wells for permanent water solutions…where is the okay ? Elena is truthful. I have seen military flyovers and drone footage of the area & much of it is fine. Makes me suspicious that people get angered by truth, and don't want people to know not every single resident was a victim. I know some people suffered more than others. Doesn't take away their loss & suffering.
My relatives in Asheville are tired of the misinformation: especially what FEMA response has been (IE claims that people are only getting a $750 loan). First the $750 is initial emergency cash, and they know people who had property damage and are being awarded tens of thousands of dollars for recovery.
Those of you who are saying Ashville is not ok should report this as false information. All i know is what I've heard on social media, I believe you all because you are there or have family there.
Ever since high Asheville defunded the police back in 2021 I could never give my tourist money to that place. I think the Mecklenburg and Wake county sheriffs are more than kind to defend that town.

I rest my case, People lost loved ones and their homes, cars pets, jobs and all of their hard earned work that they worked hard for all their life. A lot have No Insurance, no car and (they are not okay) 😭 I have been reading and getting updated everyday, so many are Not Okay, sorry i have a different opinion then You.
