  1. when politicians speak up for something . one has to ask whats in it for themselves . this is britain not any other country .
remember sheffield steel and how much of that steel still exists today due to good quality and what i can only describe as poor steel quality elsewhere .
mild steel rots .yet sheffield steel did not . removing our steel industry is not fair on those talented workers now reduced to what ? unemployed ?
the stripping of britains industry is what politicians do best so far since the 1980's
while we love money . we deepy dislike no money which in turn leaves us broke . skint ,potless.
why would a nation do this to its own industry for a lifetime now ?
why do politicians make promises they do not keep ? the u-turn ?
why do people let this happen ?
why do politicians cause this fear mongering poverty and reduced quality of homes in a nation they represent and are paid to support ?
why do politicians suddenly care about this ?
perhaps because the grift is over . reality is hitting us all and they are struggling to survive until their next pay packet with fear of being removed from office by the people .
remember the people are the army the navy the police and the workforce within this country .
police left in droves due to political idiocy .
remember how to date number have fallen for recruits joining the military .
remember how so many neglected people have died due to the incompetence of political red tape corruption and divisive media outlets with contracts and news issues .
repeating the same old issues and neglecting the people they should and do report to real news .
why did our nation fight to remove the nazi regime in the 2nd world war ?
only to be seen handing our heritage abroad ? politicians and poor quality control .
unions fightng for jobs and people to put food on tables of miners and likewise .
yet all the time it was all organised chaos to remove the worker from their working rights as we see today with zero hour contracts and teh past scandal of them with regards to poverty .
stripping a nation of its industry yet showing it as an industrial nation at the olympics was a bit weird was it not ?
yet all the time thinking they are teaching us a better way with nothing on our dinner plates to suffice a nations potential ?
the tory drooling may have ended .
but the fight for britains survival has only just begun .
while youths and young men play game consoles to place their rage anger and competitive frustrations at something else entirely .
are we great britain still that strong backbone ?

  2. The tragedy with British Steel is that its workers have the skills to produce some of the best and most specialised types of steel and other alloys in the world.
What our politicians don’t understand is that steel isn’t just steel. There are many many types of highly specialised steels and other alloys made in this country which we are renowned for. Redcar was a world leader in these metals but now it’s gone. As an engineer I know that these imported special metals are simply not as good as those made in the UK.
We can’t become self sufficient if we are closing these manufacturing facilities and relying on poor substitutes from China and India is madness.
I was talking to an engineer who knows a bit about the New Forth Bridge and he recons with the cheap Chinese steel it was built with means it will rot away while the old one will outlast it and it’s already 90 years old.
I believe the company who built it wanted to use high quality steel made in the UK but were prevented from doing so due to a stupid EC directive which prefers cheapness over quality.
For too many years now we have had ministers in charge of departments which they have little or no experience of.
Losing our manufacturing base is madness, why don’t our government understand this?
And the other insane thing is we are investing huge amounts of money on renewable energy where most of the components are being made in China where they are currently building 47 new COAL fired power stations to provide the power to manufacture the components to manufacture the renewable equipment.
Absolute insanity and criminal incompetence by Mr Milliband to pursue his dream.
No one in our government has the slightest idea of what they are doing or talking about.

  3. NOBODY IS LAUGHING about this sick sad country … THE WEF TROJAN HORSE … choosing the most clueless cuntry with the worst politicians, without a brain cell between them, to trial their madness and see what they can get away with …. …

  4. So in summary, a hate stoking racist is pushing his ongoing agenda of hate and blame of others. Maybe ask why the UK steel industry is collapsing? Is it because it is no longer economically viable? If so, what do you do about it? The conservative approach, that the likes of Tice push to extremes, is for market forces to apply in all cases. Therefore why not let market forces apply? If the UK steel industry is important and won't become an economic drag on the UK's finances, then consider subsidising it, but best to check ownership of the likes of Tata steel first to see where the money will really go.

  5. What makes me sick, is the absolute and down right lack of respect, the so called PM and other parties leaders and fromt benchers have for ANY party whos rhetoric and narrative differs from their own, from even turning up to listen to reform. Instead, that room is virtually empty and that is a disgrace, as is the blatent ommitting of anyone from reform, from being invited to select commitees. Now thats criminal and it wouldnt surprise me, if in a few years time, Sir Kier loses his knighthood and has criminal charges brought against him. Well ignore the only party that people respect at your peril Sir Kier Starmer……youll wish you hadnt one day.

  6. HELLO! electric arc furnaces run on electric[ain't i clever].The greater the demand the higher the price will be.I shiver at the very thought. Why don't we kick net zero into the long grass and go and find it after we become an economic power house again. Like we were before WW1.

  7. The fact that the steel works shut down in Britain have now reopened in India should be noted as betrayal to the british people, all for the supposed "carbon footprint" which is now in Delhi and not Wales.

  8. STARMER AND REEVES ET-AL ARE MONEYGRABBING SELF CENTRED AND UNTRUSTWORTHY LIARS WHO HATE AND WILL BE HAPPY TO SEE THOUSANDS OF PENSIONERS DIE FROM COLD. EVIL AND CORRUPT AND AS A PENSIONER AND A LIFELONG LABOUR VOTER I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THEM AGAIN. THE ENTIRE LABOUR PARTY IS CORRUPT?

  9. Great Britain made Car`s, Motorbikes, Bicycles TV`S Radio`s and Steel. British Government`s Traitors sold contracts 3rd World Countries instead of investing in British people.
