Back in 2009, Hong Kong hospitality business leader Poman Lo opened iClub envisioning it as the city’s first carbon-neutral hotel years before ESG became a topic of global importance. The hotel brand has since earned a Beam Plus Gold rating from the Hong Kong Green Building Council as well as EarthCheck certifications for environmental performance.
Today, this executive and educator continues to promote sustainable practices in the hotel industry, which she considers one of the world’s most wasteful, as well as advocating for sustainability in her other roles in business and education. Hear Lo explain what motivates her craft.

Great story!
I love her story. It may sound off topic but I chanced on this cool translator that does everything and more of what a translator should have, name is Immersive Translate and one thing that can really help is it’s new feature, which lets you create a custom AI expert for translating anything. Thank me later, it's gold.
We Indians love TikTok. Even though it's banned in India, many of us use VPNs to access it. Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo are the top three smartphone brands here. We simply can't live without Chinese products.
I may have just found someone to look up to!
I'm living in a 2mx2m cubicle room in Sham Shui Po.
Bulls**t. Maximize profits and be sustainable? Those two are different things.
More greenwashing!
Carbon neutral? How? Planting trees? Carbon offsets? Did you build the hotel with cement?
I love HK pork chop
