  1. All you have to do is spend one winter here and you will know there is no such thing as man made global warming. Changes in the climate are caused by the sun. The weather/climate has always changed. It was much warmer during the 1930s and even warmer during the medieval period when they were vineyards in northern Scotland. Without oil and gas hundreds of millions of people will freeze to death or starve. Most Canadians are longing for the day when we never see Justin Trudeau again.

  2. It is scientifically impossible for greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. All the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth is completely absorbed in earth's greenhouse effect by greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the radiating surface that is always in saturation from the strong greenhouse gas water vapor.

There has been no credible Climate Change due to global warming as of 2024. Climate Change was expected to start to take place when global warming reached 1.5°C causing observable stronger hurricanes in the Gulf-of-Mexico. The term Climate Change started being used at the beginning of the 1980s to cause alert to a broad audience of the long term effects of increasing average global temperatures.

The promotional term Climate Change in the early 1980s was grounded on actions already taken by Gulf-of-Mexico offshore crude oil drilling companies in the 1970s to build for stronger hurricanes due to warmer Gulf waters predicted to start when average global temperatures increased 1.5°C on track for 2010. That action was taken for a predicted long term change in weather patterns or climate that backed up the use of the term Climate Change.

US vise president Al Gore elected in 1992 is the key person for promoting the fraud that human caused greenhouse gases are causing global warming. In the mid 1980s Carl Sagan, NASA's story teller, was at a US Senate hearing with then US Senator Al Gore on the panel. Carl Sagan used the opportunity during his presentation to request funding three times to investigate increasing atmospheric greenhouse gases as a possible cause of global warming. Carl Sagan was behaving as a traditional astrologer because it is scientifically impossible to increase the effect of earth's always water vapor saturated greenhouse effect or any always saturated system.

Al Gore appears to have figured out that with earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect being taught in US public education he couldn't directly use Carl Sagan's scam, but it does appear Al Gore used the promotion of increasing carbon dioxide levels from human activity to cause the UN Intergovernmental Committee on Climate Change to start being publicly obsessed with human caused carbon dioxide causing global warming without a mechanism for the effect. This international involvement of Al Gore likely figured in prominently in Al Gore becoming the US vise president running mate with Bill Clinton for the US presidential election of 1992.

When Al Gore became US vise president in 1992 the new people coming into the National Science Administration were stating to the out going administrator that they were sure human caused carbon dioxide emissions were causing global warming, but refused to elaborate. At some time earth's water vapor saturated greenhouse effect appears to have stopped being taught in US public education. That time appears to have been during the first term of Al Gore's US vise presidency staring in 1992. In 1996 the UN IPCC announced that the mechanism for carbon dioxide to be causing global warming was its greenhouse gas behavior, now without resent review in US public education that would of caused every US high school science student to say that was nonsense.

Global warming has been stalled at about 1°C since 1992. In 2022 global warming was officially reported at 1.06°C

  3. Canada is largely a resources based economy like it or not and we MUST have controllable means to get our products to world markets not solely the US.
When it comes to large projects like the Trans Mtn Pipeline or the West Coast LNG Project and its pipeline there will always be that 1% who oppose them. No matter how much genuflecting we do trying to make them see the big picture benefits they will continue to oppose. That's their right but at the end of the day ALL Canadians will benefit from these projects period.
For far too long now the US has openly discounted pricing of Canadian crude oil and natural gas against world markets why because they had leverage.. Now that we have direct access to world markets such as China and India and in fact they would purchase every drop we have to export at world pricing this becomes an issue south of the boarder. We all know how much loosing leverage of any kind angers the US. But not to worry we're Canadian we respect and appreciate being the largest trading partner and ally of the US. We proved that standing side by side after the 911 attacks. But how about paying market prices for our resources please seems fair to me.

The Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion as of May 2024 is complete and shipping 890,000 barrels of high grade crude oil daily to world markets. The West Coast LNG Terminal 1 of 3 will come on line Summer of 2025 exporting quality natural gas to world markets.
These projects are conceived, constructed. financed and 100% owned and operated by Canadians and Canadian Indigenous Peoples. That's what leverage looks like.

  4. What a load of bunk. The TMX was finished earlier this year and began commercial operations May 1, 2024. Tankers have been exporting Canadian oil to foreign markets since then, generating wealth and jobs for Canadians.

  5. Canada is a resource country, oil, natural gas, coal, softwood lumber, potash, uranium etc. we have very little manufacturing, Canada would die as a country without these resource jobs, Trudeau is ruining this country

  6. I don't believe it could ever have done for 7 billion dollars. Considering the mountains and valleys it was built through , with new environmental standards ( thats a good think considering the healthy environment it cuts through ) it will be paid off and be very profitable. Trump approved the keystone pipeline to the US. Biden cancelled it as soon as he became President.

  7. Here is the interesting fact; if the were no regulations the pipeline would still have been constructed exactly as is was but with a fraction of the cost. Governments should stay out of business. Pipelines are the most reliable source of oil transportation.

  8. Once the native peoples got a free share of the proceeds they where on board. What a joke. We pay native alimony. Someday they may someday want to get their hand out of our pockets.

  9. This pipeline, as I understand it, is to export tar sands bitumen – not “good quality Canadian crude oil”. That needs to be understood. Fossil Fuels are recognized as generating 85% of our present-day global warming problem. BITUNEM from Canada’s tar sands generates twice as much CO2 GHG to the atmosphere as does “Good Quality Canadian Crude Oil”. The tar sands should be shout down. PM Trudeau once said, “Who would sit on a trillion $ asset” (or something to that effect re the Alberta Tar Sands). My response was, and is “A person who cares for the future of our Canadian society and economy, and one who cares about the environment”.
