Just over a year ago one of the MPs stood in the House of Commons and addressed the then conservative secretary of Transport Mark Happer about the then forthcoming expansion of the ULEZ ! This MP who name I can’t remember but was also conservative and his constituency was about to fall under the umbrella of the extended ULEZ He asked a simple question of Mark Happer and it was this ‘ Does the Mayor of London have the right/power to force this extension of the ULEZ on outer London ? He was told that the Mayor had the power and if his constituents didn’t like it they could show their dissatisfaction at the ballot box ! Fast Forward to this years election and part of the conservatives manifesto was to scrap the extended ULEZ ! I totally agree with Jeremy on this little man . I also wish Jeremy well with his Heath .
